  1. Too much of a recurring theme - poor after 60mins.....
  2. You can’t relate this to the owner. It’s not Saints that want to sell after all. Much as Ings is a good player for us, he now wants to have his cake and eat it. Ings is instigating a way out so it’s best to sell now as he will not have the same commitment and will sour the rest of the fruit bowl. Sorry to say but he should be sold to the highest bidder in my view unless he withdraws his thinly veiled transfer request called a ‘release clause’
  3. Disagree totally with the importance you attach to the FA Cup. This is the time to rest first team players and give the fringe youngsters a chance. We have a handful of players we need to offer first team experience to so that they are ready and available for league games when needed or to genuinely challenge the first team regulars. This match is the perfect opportunity. We should still role Shrewsbury over easily and also we don’t risk injury to our regulars.
  4. The testing is a bit farcical ... Wtf .... False positives and false negatives !!! You get your temperature taken if you visit a hospital or other establishments which again means nothing. You can have Covid for several days before a temperature develops and that is apparently the period where you are most contagious.. The science is still so unreliable and the scientists still groping in the dark.. If Ralph feels well he may as well be at work..
  5. Realistic or is he reducing expectations ? I think Ralph has changed his language recently from ‘winning mentality’ to ‘the main thing is a clean sheet’ Ralph appears to have less of a determination and ambition recently which has been picked up by the players. On a separate note, our ‘Youth Policy’ seems to have been dropped in favour of the Shane Long policy. Come on Ralph step it back up....
  6. Hojbjerg should be interesting in the post match interview reminding us all what a top team Spurs are and how Leicester tried extra hard because they were playing Spurs who are a ‘top team’ lol
  7. Agree, It was truly cringable....
  8. Interesting that God is on his side, at least VVD thinks he is... God works in mysterious ways and certainly did when VVD was here and refused to play - allegedly... That’s how Christians work I suppose... Funny ole world....
  9. He is last ditch because he is always playing catch up. People praise him last ditch though...,
  10. Oh yes yes let’s ask 32000 people for their ‘expert’ opinion, I fear that would not take us too far forwards.... We must rely on people who have all the facts in front of them and who have expertise to to make a properly informed decision. Fans will not fall into that category.
  11. While you say the reserve teams etc are inconsistent In personnel one would suspect their opponents are mostly in the same boat so not sure the reasoning for poor performances cuts any ice. The alarming thing which points to other factors is that not one of the players under the first team looks at all decent. Not one even looks the part. There is a serious issue there.
  12. It’s pretty obvious that despite various changes in management structure and personnel our quality of recruitment below the first team has been nothing short of abysmal. All this c AP about recruiting from the age of eight is really a bit of a stretch. There are plenty of lads who don’t begin to look like players until they are 16... Really we seem to be a generation behind at this moment in time when it comes the quality of our reserves and youth...
  13. He’s also crap !
  14. Harsh
  15. Stephens and Bednerek are both weak but despite the hype he receives at times on here I would have Stephens first in the team. Bednarek is so unaware of what is happening around him.
  16. This is very sound thinking but a bit ‘blue sky’ for football tactics at Saints who can’t think outside the box or in it half the time!
  17. Ralph is just a bit cocky at times and thinks it’s all about his whims... Beginning to think he just doesn’t see the whole picture tactically during a game otherwise he WOULD have made adjustments after 20 mins or at least at half time. To play a third game after the first two high line games were so poor is madness, what exactly did Ralph expect! Ralph not filling people with confidence at the moment or I fear the players too....
  18. BLM is political and has place in football. Football already had ‘Kick it out’ BLM is extremism politics nothing less.
  19. No wonder you are in a football forum! You plainly have bugger all to say of any value....?
  20. Do you mean you actually believe the most skewed bias unreliable, anti government, anti Uk news outlet on this planet? Their news last night on this was scarrily laughable and people are buying into them, it’s scandalous.
  21. Yes I am ‘equating’ How can you say certain people can work because they are ‘essential’ but it’s perfectly fine for others not to work.... There is no logic to this...Let alone fairness. Everyone should work until or if they are ill or tested positive at this stage of the spread. A person working in Tescos is just as ’essential’ as anyone else. See how long you last without food! You cannot discriminate or act as God over who is ’essential’ The mechanic that maintains the lorry that drives the food to your shop etc etc Where does this end.... ?
  22. Another panicker..... Ok then if footballers can’t play football food transporters can’t go to work and neither can shop workers or nurses and doctors and electricity supply workers etc etc etc etc ... Then everyone starved to death, will you be satisfied then! Get a grip for Christ sake!
  23. This is precisely the kind of ‘When we put in a decent shift’ complacency which ensures we accept defeat as long as some players put in a shift which is tragic defeatism. The alarming thing is we appear to have been very naive and disorganised in the last half dozen games which Ralph needs to take some responsibility for.
  24. Yes agree the love in for Ralph is baffling. The last half dozen games we have been poorly organised and not made any attempt to mitigate the opposition strengths. Ralph is woeful at tactical recognition and should be called out for it... Yet again today even with 11 v 11 we were totally out thought by opposition manager with no reaction from Ralph even. Ralph is too often oblivious and ill prepared.
  25. Let’s get one other thing straight Ralph needs to step it up too. His opposition prep has been abysmal for far too many games.
