  1. ‘Can’t fault Elyounoussi for effort’ This is a complete fallacy, he is lazy and never closes down properly. He badly affected the press in the Brighton game by not getting close enough to their back line and allowing Brighton to play out every time. Watch Ely closely and you will see he is not engaging the opposition effectively and we are mostly carrying him. The way he constantly finds time to tell his team mates what to do when he himself is pretty clueless is ironic to say the least…
  2. Agreed, Elyounoussi should be nowhere near this team….
  3. Totally Elyounousi just doesn’t press or close down and at least one goal if not two resulted in Brighton being allowed to break our press because he did not do his job. Who does he think he is pointing the finger continuously at his team mates when he contributes the sum total of sod all…
  4. Well currently he looks as though he and Adams are the two that might scrape into another team in the PL. Not that with some modicum of coaching some others wouldn’t improve of course. ’Coaching’ now there’s a thought…..
  5. It is a sad indictment of our new ‘Manager’ that he can’t see Stuart is our best player and he leaves him out EVEN after coming on against Lincoln and making us look half reasonable for a while. Jones is missing so many things and hasn’t carried out any due diligence on the team at all. it’s bloody scandalous. As so many people have said, what exactly did he do for the six weeks??? Even prior to the six weeks it was obvious he knew he was coming here but did no preparation at all…. Quite unbelievable ….
  6. Watch him closely … He literally never closes down and yesterday the press broke down every time because he simply stood off as he always does btw. He is poor all round, weak and constantly hounds his team mates for nothing when it is his own inadequacies which he should be scrutinising. Ely is not to blame though, the manager is for picking him and then asking him to be pressing from the front, a critical role is a joke.
  7. Spot on …. Can’t add anything to this…
  8. This was blatant, you are correct…. Coaching obviously non existent. The worse culprit being Elyanousi… players who continually blame team mates for everything on the pitch are usually the poorest themselves, he being a case in point.
  9. Very precise, unlike Jones who doesn’t grasp pass and move of that we can see with depressing ease.
  10. Sorry but it was obvious both against Lincoln and Brighton that Jones is no coach and also no judge of players either. His team selections are weird.
  11. Elyounousi was dreadful. He was kind of up front and in a two now and then but did not close down. This ‘footballer didn’t close down or press once in the entire game! A coach who either doesn’t coach players or alternatively stop picking those players deserves to be sacked! There was no evidence at all of any coaching, oh except DO NOT pass and move and DO NOT support the teammate on the ball oh do not stand in space!!! Llanana ran the bloody show and our team stood a watched without paying! I was all for Jones and his hype was believed by me but he looks totally out of his deapth. Disgusting excuse for football!!!!!
  12. It’s HIS bench !
  13. We ‘need’ a proper coach not this pub team excuse for one…
  14. Adam Armstrong on lol.. That is beyond laughable. This guy Jones is clueless… Shant bother against while Jones is there - a complete joke…
  15. Two players short I’m afraid with the useless non pressing Ely and Diallo and Jones picked them!!!! Jones has obviously not researched previous games we have played at all. I liked Jones but realise now he is clueless. This is utter crap..
  16. Thought Djenepo did well when he came in actually….Plus Mara cannot be as bad as AA that would be impossible - Wouldn’t it …..?
  17. You might be right though he is very lightweight unfortunately… Certainly worth giving other options a go…
  18. I do wonder who on earth is deciding to pick Adam Armstrong despite his obvious dreadful lack of ability at this level. There will be youngsters and others who would fill that position far more skilfully. Even just one recognised forward would perhaps suit us better as we are so often outnumbered in midfield anyway. Let’s also hope that the strategy of allowing Lyanco to spearhead our tactical master stroke of endless long balls which were totally aimless and at best hopeful is not employed again because that was pub football standard tactics. Jones must learn the obvious quickly and employ some urgent critical thinking for we do have enough in this squad to get some results if Management do their job well, however that was a very poor initial effort Nathan.
  19. That was poor. No midfield at all. Wing backs and JWP too far away from the back three so it was impossible to build any kind of possession. The only tactic was for Lyanco to hit a very long inaccurate ball into touch or to a Lincoln player… Where was the much lauded’ support for the man on the ball’ Didn’t see that at all. God and as for picking Adam Armstrong ! Jones needs to pick his game up quick because that was worse than a Ralph performance by him… Tactics, coaching and team selection for this game were of the lowest order and a very disappointing start Nathan considering you had six weeks to study and plan…What have you been doing ?
  20. So you think S Armstrong is not as good as Eli ? Lol And Adam Armstrong should be first choice lol ?
  21. I thought Ralph had left!!! What sort of team is that Nathan?
  22. Errrrr they have reduced prices chum ….
  23. Tella is still along way short of Premier League standard and is not worth recalling. It is one of the very few good ‘Ralph’ calls…. Not good enough, watched him a few times now and way off this standard.
  24. Utter crap ! Grow a pair !
