  1. Spot on comment, I'm in full agreement...........
  2. Loosing the argument so find another bandwagon to jump on. You would be better to justify your point which I believe you can't. I will take up your point on 'guilty or innocent' never the less: Two guys come into your house, they rob your lap top and steel the contents of your missus handbag. but only one carries the goods away. The police catch the other guy who refuses to tell them who took the loot away, is it justice that the guy who was caught receives no punishment at all?
  3. That's not true is it! The 'experts' who investigated the case brought the charge! It was on a technicality of evidence that the case was weak.
  4. What utter tosh and positive discrimination if ever I saw it. He was pictured in the blinkin Echo for Gods sake aiding and abetting - he was there AND refused to help police identify the other three people involved which is particularly distasteful. Hands in his pockets in court too according to the Echo!!!! For this he was rightly reprimanded by the judge but more importantly it further shows a total lack of respect for any moral decorum and manners which further leads me to question his right to forgiveness. Sorry but on the evidence I have seen and read this person does not deserve my respect and shall not receive it! Whereas Nathan Dyer has taken his punishment and declared his remorse and deserves my forgiveness and respect.
  5. So agree with this - so many of our problems stemmed from a struggling defence in this match which meant every time Blackpool attacked they played straight through us. The midfield was however slightly too far advanced most of the game leaving our slow defenders exposed.
  6. Oh dear evidence of winning one one header per game - two of those with his arms all over the opposition doesn't constitute evidence to the contrary of my assessment. He was also - for the record very slow on the ground too! This is not to say we didn't have a few problems all over the pitch - we obviously did. The culmination of his slowness was personified with the way their attacker just strode by him by the six yard area and KD made a fantastic save onto the post. Take the historical blinkers off and make a judgement based on hard evidence of performance this year and you will come to the same conclusion as lots of others including me that he needs more time before he is ready to perform at this level.....
  7. Svensson is struggling seen him several times this year now and he is not up the pace and is hardly winning a header all game - every game. I know every one loves him and has an emotional attachment but really I don't know if the comeback is going to work out. Today he was a liability and not for the first time!
  8. Look. Didn't go today but saw the West Ham game. This pure emotion thing with Killer is becoming tiresome - the blind God like obsession generated by the Echo and clung onto by a large section of fans is just getting silly. Killer was continually beaten in the air against WH. Today he was man enough to admit in the post match interview that he was out jumped for their winning goal. Our central defenders are not tall enough and that includes Killer - wake up. We have a great bright young team with lots of potential but we are weak in the air at the back!!!!!
  9. Agree with most of that. Reason for Jake Thompson not seeing enough of the ball was he is always unsure where he should be - probably a confidence thing, this why I am not sure he is ready quite yet. Also would give Lallana 9. We are all getting very excited and carried away lol ......
  10. Fantastic football - just like watching Arsenal at times. Worries are just one really Jake Thompson needs another few months in the reserves or on the bench, he was carried most of the game and didn't support our fantastic right back. Perhaps SWP out there wide would be better but not sure of his positional and defensive qualities either? Great football though and I would recommend anyone to go along against Stoke and have a look. It's football I would pay to watch. Personally I like Bart in goal too and was betting on him to stop Bellamy scoring with that one on one. Thanks for to everyone involved with managing this site too, 8000 members goes to show you are doing a great job and it's well appreciated.
