Not the time for conspiracy theories. if SR had the confidence on a level they portray with Jones there then it is unlikely they will be influencing decisions pitch related. I don’t believe it for a second, it’s just a smoke screen by Jones to hide his total amateurism in every department.

Excellent summary Mr X. Jones lacks all the skills you need to ‘Manage’ Christ, Harry Rednap is more articulate ! Jones has no substance at all, the team selections are unbelievably inept, the tactics are confused and without any considered foundation or preparation. The only thing Jones seems to have brought into the building is his ego. The situation after the debacle of his football so far and the farcically comedic interviews yesterday and previously leave him in an untenable position. Players and fans will have no respect for the guy at all and you cannot manage a team in any walk of life without earning some respect. if the owners/Directors still believe Jones is even stable enough to continue then they too will lose what little respect that remains for them.

Look, with greatest of respect I am clueless so the players I picked did well to keep the score to very respectable level which is a positive. Also with respect to me, the owners have not backed me in the transfer window so I am still a great manager with lots of aggression, plus my idol Janny B was terrific today, another posistive!

Isn’t the football we play a factor? Our football has been outrageously poor. Our results have unsurprisingly been the same. Had the football been cohesive and organised with rational team selections then perhaps we could be patient even through a poor set of initial results. However, that has clearly not been the case. We were relegated under Lawrie yes but were playing much more intelligent football then than now and went on to play scintillating attractive football …. In those days we also had ambition not like Semmens today who has zero and should take much more blame for this mess we are in than he does.
