100% correct. No midfield STILL! I’ve said it so many times… Too many players too far advanced which leaves us with no Midfield !!! = We cannot build any passing movements forwards at all !!!!! wtf why can’t Selles see this ?? Why???? Because he has been a part of this system for the whole season himself and yet we employed him to carry it on . I give up … Literally it’s amateur coaching and tactics, the players don’t stand a chance.

Not at all. He is terrible when we don’t have the ball too and never closes down properly.. A truly crap player but Selles loves him and that my Lord is why Selles is another huge risk. Of course we knew all this before he took the job on again this time. A fortunate win at a poor Chelsea was never an indication of greatness from the Manager… why many fans were wetting their pants over that game I just don’t know..

Bednarek doesn’t pick himself… Selles has to take some responsibility for team selection here…

The team selections and process look remarkably familiar. Selles has had a considerable influence over the time he has been here you can see this… That is why we needed to wait rather than rush into handing out contracts to present coaches who we know have tendencies to favour players who make us weaker. You all know who they are…

Did Elyounoussi show his worth? Not sure he did or does… He does tell his team mates what to do all the time when he actually does sod all himself.

Well that answers my question Selles influence - too much !!! Crap team!

We are about to find out how much influence Selles was having on team affairs prior to his total control. Like everyone else intimates he has been very impressive in the pressers but now is the part where he really will show his colours and need to be impressive….

Nice condescending post mate, however several much better informed people were giving updates that painted a different pictures than yours. Unless you are Ankerson or very close to him your opinion is more hypothetical even than many on here….

Disagree. To have gone as far we did with a basic decision having been made and then something suddenly emerges that stops the whole thing completely that hadn’t or should have been covered early doors in any meetings is unlikely … Sounds to me as though we panicked and had second thoughts… Ankerson is in this up to his neck and doesn’t know whether to twist, stick, go blind or stack….

What a complete and utter mess, these owners are on another planet. They wanted Marsch and then they didn’t … now apparently Selles is the man all along !!!! Litterally what drugs are these guys on …. Ankerson seems to have caught something off Jones, it’s mental. If respect is earned then Ankerson has about 1p in the bank…

And picked one or two odd ones including the pretty useless Elyounoussi which worried me… Not sure and would lean towards Marsch personally.

No it’s the problem if they are pressing too far advanced…

The huge issue we have had in recent months if not since Ralph started is that the full backs have always been in advance of the ball where ever the ball was .. This ‘tactic’ continued every single game and left us completely exposed every game. Jesse Marsch had a similar issue at Leeds. Maybe, just maybe Marsch has learnt his lesson and we can play a high press without surrendering both the full back positions and the centre midfield which we have contrived to do mostly with Ralph. With Jones have to admit I never saw anything remotely tactical at all anyway and stopped going after two of his totally inept home games…. I have read that Marsch is likely to flood the central midfield which is well overdue for us and also not allow the full backs license to be recklessly advanced unless the opportunity arises. This being the case and he doesn’t play Elyounoussi, Bednarek and Diallio I am right behind Marsch….

The absurdity of Bednarek actually playing in our team again is actually now lol funny 😂….You really could not make this shit up in a million years…

Worryingly on this platform anger seems to be disappearing and replaced with total apathy…. Perplexed and also numb with the shear amateurism of the whole management structure at the club my attitude is becoming the same as the directors - ambivalent…. Ankerson has rammed the club in reverse and got his foot hard to the floor on the accelerator….. Not blaming Jones any more, this is wholly (or holy) down to Ankerson…..

It doesn’t matter at all who takes over the Manager we have is not good enough and any other strategy at all will not make things worse. Jones must go, however whoever has kept him here until now and employed him in the first place must go too…

Well strangely he appeared to know nothing about the squad at all when he joined and did little or no research on previous games for several weeks if even at all… He even had a week off as soon as he started and did little or no research. All this obvious from what he has told us and the personnel he has picked plus the bigging up of Janny B…. Which had not a shred of logic to it… I’m afraid he is unprofessional in every respect that us fans can see.
