  1. What, experiment against Manuer? I'm not quite sure that's the best game to experiment or play with virtually three up front but hell, Iv'e been wrong before lol
  2. Not sure what Harding has done wrong lately. Harding at LB and Dickson at Left Mid. Punch as kit man...........where he can play in his comfort zone all neat and tidy!
  3. A very good analysis of the situation with JP. I really do not believe he is capable of changing up a gear though. It's not only a very simple psycological issue. It's personal performance asperation and knowing where he's at rather than thinking he has arrived there. Rather similar to Morgan in some ways, a decent skill level but there's lots of smoke and mirrors and never wan'ts to really be something very special and die for cause.
  4. He does't hurt the opposition - ever! (playing for us) If JS is the answer, what is the question?
  5. why do you mention both subjects in the same context ?? Whilst Punch is very average but wanted a bit by some managers. Pulis is evidently not required by anyone so how can we get shot of him????? It's not at all ridiculous it's life - we are stuck with Pulis............................Let Punch go I say, he cant hit a barn door and some of his Millwall 'goals' were very fortuitous. He is not good enough for us and Pulis doesn't play for the first team anyway! I 'm sure we would get rid if we could - obvioiusly........
  6. Priceless...........
  7. But what about the bus? Are you on it? ;-)
  8. I want Blackpool to go down. I want Blackpool to loose against Liverpool - it's as simple as that!
  9. All the singers to one end - thats what is most effective by far. As we get further up the leagues and further in cups we will meet bigger teams who will fill the Northam and out sing us. Best strategy to help the team is all together in one big Kop. I'm against the current set up.
  10. Holloway ........................oh dear oh dear oh dear - not interested in a fourth round tie at home to Man u !!!! I hope you are pleased with yourself. This is Karma which will now continue to work against you - Liverpool looked handy today - good luck against them - you will need it.....You have put pressure on your first team now - and yourself..........It's bad news for you.......
  11. Respect in competition is earnt by fighting hard in the race and being magnanimous in victory and defeat. 'Generous' comments which are 'qualified' with exceptions are worthless and insincere. I was supporting Blackpool as the underdog in the PL and with the Brett connection, a guy who I had great respect for as a player here. As a Saints supporter why should I respect Holloway now? The singing is pure banter as you well know Mr Holloway. We took your supporters singing in the same context - no different to any other football match across the country every week. So what was the motive behind the outburst, why are you bitter? You even chose to 'qualify' further by alluding to the wealth of our club and what we may be paying our players compared to yours - completely unnecessary - why did you feel the need to devalue our victory? A very sad moment and one which I hope - looking back, you are embarrassed by.
  12. How observant you are.............both these childish guys have a great obsession with their selves. Lost a lot of respect for both of them in the last week or so. Both suffering from a severe bout of envy!
  13. Sounds reasonable but we could 'rest' Richardson who was the one real down point of the Exeter game - absolutely poor actually....
  14. Evidently !! Sometimes it's not enough though....
  15. Schniderlin - yes he had a good game on the face of it but one swallow and all that...........D&R away ??? if he's really started performing we'll see it again in this game and perhaps he will make a goal or even score one - better still....
  16. Unfortunately you are almost right.........We did however start under Adkins by playing passing from the back but notably today there was a lot more longer balls. Remember the Tranmere game where Davis didn't punt long once but today it was mostly a long punt again - some short throws out but nothing like it was early under Adkins..........
  17. Go on admit it, who got very worried when at 3.0 down Exeter City still had the awesome Jake Thompson to come off the bench!!!!!!!!! This sums up the gulf between the two clubs. I would say Paul Tisdale has worked some sort of minor miracle getting that bunch of guys to mid table - was there one Exeter player that would have even made our bench?
  18. 4 -0 and we hardly seemed to get out of first gear. Suppose we didn't need to........ Davis - 6 A little pannicky on a couple of crosses - but decent enough when needed which wasn't too often! Richardson -4 almost every single time he had the ball he gave it away aimlessly - very poor. Gets a 4 for his defensive display only. Seabourne - 7 Looked ok really. Fonte - 8.5 - very assured - class act. Harding - 8 Tireless running didn't put a foot wrong Schneiderlin - 8 - Not a fan of his but I have to say today he played very well but he did have time on the ball today which Exeter afforded him in truck loads. Chaplow - 8.5 - I love him, so much tenacity and he reads the game so well. Lallana - 9 - Such a terrific player to watch. Chamberlin - 8 - great early on and good later on. Lambert - 8 - incredibly link up play again , very unselfish and unlucky not to score - a real handful for the Exeter defence. Guly - 8 .5 best I've seen him play by a long way - I am being won over.
  19. Simples - Adam Lallana
  20. This is a joke right ??? 2-3 mil when walcott went for 10 ??? AND we needed the money then and we don't now and he is as good ???? there is no logic in your statement..............
  21. No not garbage at all - you obviously only watch a game from a distance and don't take in the detail....He is often stood watching the watching the game and day dreams. He ends up standing right next to one of his own players with the game going on around him. He is not perceptive of what is likely to happen next - meaning his anticipation is poor. He will play another dozen games for Millwall before they start to see he that he doesn't affect the outcome of games and becomes a passenger in the team - this will happen. JP is not a player who stays at a club for only for few months for nothing - perhaps he will prove me wrong but I seriously doubt it...
  22. Has anyone heard what the team would have been at Charlton?
  23. Agree - anything less than 9 points from the Huddersfield game will been seen as relegation form.... ;-)
  24. Ummmmmmm .............Prutton ???????? can you elaborate on your point here...
