100% I'm afraid to say IF WE ARE GOING TO PLAY A PASSING GAME them Guly will NOT fit into this tactic at an absolute liability. gave away pass for the goal and sendinding off...........He has had time enough........It is not working with him in the team - now letting us down big time...........I'm patient but NOT THAT PATIENT!! Time to end his first team run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes it's a game of opinions........At least I must congratulate you on keeping the opinion friendly. Who ever plays, tonight is a biggy and in Nigel we trust......
-
An awful lot of hype about SDR on here.........Watford game he was totally invisible - have seen little yet to justify a start.

Better get up quick if we want to be in the PL

That's by the best solution so far....................How rediculous. Football for me would be not worth watching under such a set up. Still won't have to cancel my Sky as don't and wont have it. It has wrecked football but this scenario would be screwing down the coffin lid for ever..........I for one would walk. -
This is a really odd post..........De Ridder is no where near up to the standard of this team ............Don't know what you are basing your evidence on. Poor against Watford and - well not dissimilar against Derby...........I am in the camp of thinking Nigel is great but his picking of a player's skill to sign is very suspect. In this respect AP was a hell of a lot better. Don't get me wrong NA is a far better manager but AP can analyse a players skill much better.

Could Rickie play for England?
captainchris replied to Ivan Katalinic's 'tache's topic in The Saints
If a thread was to be started on this topic the it should have started on AL by far and away our most talented player and could easily play at international level... -
Going on the Watford game he offered very little. He was always looking for the hole in the needle pass/through ball which is rarely on. His involvement with general play and build up was for me not up to speed with the rest of the team - not really affecting the game enough. My choice would be Holmes even on the right and cutting such is our method this year. De ridder isn't ready yet for me - at least not to start.....

I'm going to sing that until I'm horse - **** - what a first class number one utter idiot Holloway is............

A million for a PA system !!!!! I really do not believe that a suitable PA system cannot be found for a lot less than half that cost.....

I was in the Kingsland North and not a word was able to be made out..................It is about time this was fixed. I'm no H&S freak - on the contrary but the point is well made about if there was an emergency not to mention the team news which I have no idea about until the players come out and I actually see them.......but no idea who is on the bench even then......In this aspect the Dell was DC in comparrison lol....

Not after what I saw on Sat! Does that mean if we call Forecast a wonder kid we will millions for him - think not - if only ........

My take on the game... First half we were ok but probably Watford shaded it. Lambert was outjumped for every ball a bit dissapointing - I'm a fan of his but today he was not bossing his marker. We did take a long time to get going. Not sure about the pens - they looked soft but wasn't close enough to see really. De Ridder - a bit in and out as was Guly as usual. Best player on the pitch by a country mile - Adam Lallana just fantastic skill, a joy to watch. Thought fox was excellent and Hoodvelt too played well. Not usually a fan of richardson - however today he was close to my MOTM played very well not that he had a lot to mark by the looks of it. Chaplow really good again when he came on and good to see Holmes play a nice cameo too. I think right now I prefer him to Da Ridder. Hammond was good as was Cork. Davis one blinding save.... Marks: Davis - 7 Richardson - 8 Hoodvelt - 7 Fonte - 6 Fox - 8 De Ridder - 6 Lallana - 9.5 Hamond - 8 Cork - 7 Lambert - 6 Guly - 6 Subs - Morgan - 7 Chappers - 9 Holmes - 8 Overall, a bit of help from the ref and a struggle first half. I think Watford were a poor team though and never really threatened us. Great second half with some awesome passing movements at times....... -
David Chell joins Saints as chief commercial officer

Sorry but it was terrible under Luker too - Really terrible! -
So our centre half who couldn't get near the Celtic team is fine though is it????????????????????

Dissagree - it is my 'human right' to go to a football match without the threat of being beaten up or worse. If you think it is your 'human right' to be free to fight you are very mistaken. For history disctates that without these measures, law abiding peaceful fans will be unable to attend the match without considerable risk to life and limb. This NOT 'KNEE JERK' it's learning by years of experience, logical, sensible and looks after my 'human rights'!!!

Sooooooo well put.......Lost all respect for the guy - Mr 'I didn't see that' . Want's everything his way. He has joined the list - Poyet, Warnock and Holloway also are in this league of 'dissing' Saints wallies........They are all self obsessed conceited, hypocrites.........
-
Nice one - lots of effort put in and a loss to prepare for us on Sunday - lets hope they are tired but that we are not complacent...
-
A very poorly informed generalisation that probably is over 90% inaccurate. I don't know one Saints fan who would rather stay home and watch Manuer than go to the ground and watch Saints if they were going any way..
-
Blackpool most definitely and Brighton because their managers are mouthy impolite bad looser big heads and I want to sing to Holloway - 'Premiership you're having a laugh' really loud.........
-
Now IF he was a right back...............

Can I endorse this very accurate description......
