Well 65,000 NHS staff are EU immigrants hopefully we will be getting rid of them soon so they can stop draining our beloved health service.. https://researchbriefings.parliament.uk/ResearchBriefing/Summary/CBP-7783

It fits his world view that climate change is an evil conspiracy so if he finds something on the net that fits that view he will grab it with both hands while decrying how blind everyone else is to the truth.

I don't remember it being a constant thing, last season under Ralph, we seemed to start games pressing hard but it would drop off as the game wore on. I think compared to what Hughes and the players had given us it seemed like a real step up in work rate and style but it only seemed to really work early on when the players where really trying (trying to impress the new manager I guess) . We do still try to press when out of possession this season. Problem is when we do win the ball the players often screw up any benefit with poor passing/decision making. If they won the ball and a made a quick well placed pass we might get somewhere while the opposition is off balance. All to often though the players seem to dither or just lack the quality to making a telling pass. Thing is teams the league that press really well City, Liverpool and spurs (well maybe not this season) have the quality to really make the most of it with pace, finishing ability and players who can pick a pass we don't have any of that.

Rate our players. Good, competent or poor?

I guess your point is these players are really good? We were a the underdogs in a cup match, over two legs, which is a very different scenario to the grind of the league. For a one off game like this we could find dozens of games where the same players played like turd. This unique one off scenario doesn't really tell you much other than any set of players can raise their game against a better team in a cup game. -
He wasn't playing LB though he was playing LWB a subtle difference and to be fair he looked far better going forward than Cedric in that postion. For their second he was out of position mostly because he was blowing out his arse and looked knackered. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Who else they going to support Boris? Clearly labour are closest to their current political leanings. Or are trying to suggest that if Corbyn become s PM he will suddenly go full October Revolution? Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

luckily Targett isn't one of them...

Mosin. He had this deep felt desire to prove JWP was better than Redmond (who he absolutely hated) ….though to be fair Redmond has been pretty ****e this season to

Mostly because our whole fleet of heavy machinery is ****ed the bulldozers, the diggers, the crane even the ****ing cherry picker is ****ed sadly Ralph wasn't going to be allowed to buy a whole new machinery fleet.

Not only that he had a bunch of players that put the current lot to shame a number of them where better than what have now ( Lambert, Lallana, Morgan, Fonte, Cork) and the less talented ones worked their ****ing dicks of every game. Not like the current shower) Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Wouldn't be my first choice but I wouldn't call it absurd Valery has been off form most of the season. One thing Armstrong has is a bit of pace and engine to get up and down the line. My hunch is that Hoj (yet another player having to fill in due to lack of LB options) was due to play LWB and Cedric at RWB they probably trained all week with that in mind then Hoj gets concussion. Point is if we had two decent LB options we wouldn't be in a position where the manager is scrambling around trying to shoehorn players in at LB/LWB. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Surely the reason he is ****ing around with wingback/fullbacks is because we have one LB who has been, for whatever reason, missing for half this season. Do you not think Ralph would happily play a decent left footed fullback if he had one? who ever he plays there is out of position. So as far as I can see that's down to ****e recruitment we got rid of Targett and didnt replace him. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I would call any cyber attack whether it's in Labour HQ or Doris at number 64 sinster myself. But yeah it could just be teenage hackers having a laugh or Russian criminals trying a bit of blackmail ( Jeremy 123 I have hacked your web cam, give me bitcoin, or I will email pictures of you ****ing over Brazilian fart porn to your contacts list) Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

So someone has allegedly launched a Cyber attack on the Labour party... BREAKING Labour Party targeted in 'large-scale and sophisticated' cyber attack https://a.msn.com/r/2/BBWDDJi?m=en-gb&referrerID=InAppShare MI5 trying to keep the reds out of office? the Russians making sure that their Brexit plans come to fruition? The CIA on trump's orders? Boris on his iPad? Someone at labour HQ watching porn on an unsafe site? Post your conspiracy theories here. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I look at that line up and it just sums up how ****e our squad is. I have a lot of time for Yoshida due to his long service but let's face it he should be our back up CB not a starter. Bednarek makes some good last ditch tackles but often he has to because he ****ed up his initial positioning and gets by passed easily. Bertrand's best years are behind him and he has being going through the motions for a long time. Cedric is a very average RB already dreaming about being elsewhere next season. JWP and Stephens in midfield is horrible but Hoj isn't any better than JWP and Romeu is the best of the bunch but horribly immobile. Ings is ok but considering how ****e our other strikers are he hardly has competition for his place. Armstrong might do ok in that position but really hasn't shown much to suggest he is any more than squad player. Redmond and Boufal flatter to deceive and I'm still waiting for them to really take games by the scruff of the neck and become a real threat. Djenpo it's early days but he looks at least half decent and a threat Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I would but I can't be bothered to write the word **** that many times I'd get repetitive strain injury .. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk -
It's not that clear cut there have been signings that were clearly driven by the manager ( and most of those came under Koeman) as well as a number that where pretty obviously Reed/Ross pet projects like Juanmi, Redmond, Ings and Elyounoussi. The way transfers were described in the past was a transfer committee, including the manager, would decide what positions they needed players for. Then Reed/Ross would go and find three players the club has scouted that fitted the criteria (and no doubt the club's price bracket) and get the manager to decide which one of those he wants to try and sign. So the manager does have the final say but only on the players the the club transfer committee had picked to meet the criteria of cheap, youngish and saleable in the future. The club's transfer policy is clearly less about giving the manager what he wants and more about carrying on the idea getting younger players that we can buy cheap sale high. Honestly who cares? Even if we survive again we will just repeat this whole pointless saga again next season and Ad Infinitum until we finally get relegated. Is anyone actually enjoying repeating ground hog season every year? with the current squad and owner that's all we have to look forward to.
