Didn't Lambert start his career as a CM player? is James not fit yet? as CM is supposed to be his position we could just play him there.

Well according to AP in his post match talk Morgan will miss all the fun now which should teach him a lesson. LOL sounds like my dad when I was kid -
Really? surely a game we've lost would be the worst. Winning in injury time despite being down to 10 men has surely got to make it better than either Swindon match or the awful game aganst Brighton at home? Of course you may have only seen the 5-something games in which case this game would be rubbish.

I would suggest your doing it wrong then;) Although in fairness I was jumping around my garage like a demented monkey while screaming at the radio when we scored god knows what the neighbours must have thought.

I know it's was like "Lambert to Barnard......... oh just a minute when did he come on" and then "Puncheon perfect pass to Connolly.......... er who's he replaced? ermm Dave did you see Connolly come on? Mean while all Merrington could say was "You've got to admire Yeovil playing this well, sticking to their footballing principals Blah Blah Blah" -

Get the **** in brillant result this team really keep going. Is our new best formation 3-2-4? AP gambled and won, isn't nice to have game winning subs on the bench? No Morgan for the last few games could be annoying. On a different note Solent's commentry was bad to day twice we put on subs without the commentry team even noticing. Mean while Dave Merrington seemed more interested in bigging up Yeovil than telling us what the hell was going on on the pitch:mad:. COYR -
Just maybe, they're having a bad match after a long season the table doesn't lie they've won more games than us thats why they're top six.

Looks like Alan's replacement is already making himself avaliable for next season;) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/milton_keynes_dons/8624903.stm

Might work out for NC and AP I suppose. There have been rumours around for months that AP and NC aren't happy with each other (how true those rumours are is up for debate however) if it is true AP goes somewhere else head held high most agreeing he's done a good job his reputation restored after the Charlton debacle. NC gets rid of AP without looking like a **** and saints get a big wedge of compensation and bring Coppell in everyones a winner. Personally I want AP to stay but it's not up to me, if he does go I hope he doesn't plunder us for our good players (he can take Pulis though)

Antonio - Will he be a saint next season..?
doddisalegend replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
I have to agree with you about Papa, he seems to have got the hang of the offside rule which was his main problem when he arrived . I'd love him to stay he's a good character and a fantastic sub without him we'd never have won the JPT. Having said that I could see him wanting to move on for more regular football a lot of teams in this league would love to have him I reckon. -

Brendon Rodgers got the boot in mid December, Antonio's 1st loan spell ended in January yet the current reading manager was happy to let him stay with us for the rest of the season. They haven't it seems offered him a new contract either. If they rated him I would have excpected the latter and might have excpected him to be recalled or put on short term loans so he could be if the need arose. I really don't see him starting ahead of the current Reading team, here he knows he will get first team football. -

True. Although looking at the Reading fan forums just now they don't think he is better than what they have. So bench warmer (if he is lucky) in the championship or more regular football with us in league one I think he wants to play myself. -

They've left it late then as he is out of contract for them soon, surely we can make an offer as attractive as anything Reading can? -
I thought they wanted Lallanna? they're going to need a lot of money to take AP and Adam off our hands. If (a very big If) AP did go do you reckon he'd take Lambert with him?
-
Could the sky guy sound any more bored? the Sky video with the bird in the saints kit is quite good though. Interesting info on Lallanna apparently he likes movies with dogs in and cried while watching Marely and Me ?!?!

pompey??

He has to be becuase if he gets caught out of postion my gran can out run him, at least Seabourne has the pace to get back Jiadi is like a brick wall hard to get past but easy to outrun once you have.

Surely someone needs to reform our arch rivals Freemantle FC for that one?

If we don't make the playoffs and anyone dares diss Mr Pardew...
doddisalegend replied to 1976_Child's topic in The Saints
Guility as charged I love cup competitions far more exciting than the league (normally anyway, this years league has been more exciting than most in the last few years). I want us to go up as champions next year not sneak in at sixth this year. The JPT (not matter how maligned is a proper trophy) winning a cup for finishing third in the league is not. -
Jasons been with us for a few months now so how do people rate him now they've had a chance to watch him. I have to admit every time I've seen him play (Swindon at home, Dons away and Orient at home) he hasn't impressed me. While he's comfortable with the ball, has a good first touch and has some pace. When ever I've seen him he seems to try to hard going on mazy little runs that go no where, putting in sloppy corners/free kicks or missing the easy pass for something more spectuacular that doesn't come off. Now having said that I know others have told me that he has looked total quaility in the three 5-something drubbings we've handed out this year. The cynic in me says that most players look good when we're hammering someone by five goals but I think it's safe to say Puncheon has ability (he just chooses not to show when I go to games;)). I really can't make my mind up about him, no player plays well all the time but Puncheon seems very inconsistent to me. I certainaly don't think he is in Lallanna's League and I think I prefer Antonio's more direct though less technically gifted style. So what does everyone else think about Jason? good, great, legend in the making or something else.

Reading don't rate him it would seem. He appears very happy here we gave him his best birthday ever. If we want him (and why wouldn't we?) then I'm sure he would love to come here. Antonio has improved in leaps and bounds since he came here and I think thats down to AP, given time I think AP will make him an even better player. I do hope he gets a better goal celebration though.....
