Yes and no. We need to IMO in the top five and with close distance of first and second come Christmas, the season is long and teams can make late surges if well placed so sacking AP at christmas for being say fourth and six pts of first would make no sense. If we're in 15th place and 18pts of 1st at christmas then fine time to try someone new.

I think a lot of us feel the same. This year I've been prepared to settle for a lot less than we actually achieved (I honestly thought we'd be battling relegation with the team we had in August coupled with the -10) becuase of the relegation/adminstration issues. Those are gone now so next year I will exepect a lot more on the understanding that a) we keep the current team together b) if we can't keep our best players we make sure we get good quaility replacements for them.

I think thats an indication of how good this team is becoming that you could suggest half a dozen players this season for player of the season with some justification. This time last year I'd of struggled after naming Kelvin. If we keep this team together next season It could be really hard with Barnard,Fonte, Puncheon and Antonio all being in the mix.

I think prehaps you're the one not there if you can't see that these people decided to get involved of their own free willno one forced them to take the course of action they did. Blaming others is just normal these days though it's so much easier than accepting responsibility for your own actions.

In fairness to Wotton while he lacks practically any footballing skill he has always given his all for the team everytime he has played. You could say the same for a lot of this years fringe players Perry, Murty, Connolly, Thomas and Mills they've all looked committed when they've been called upon such a difference to lasts years team.

really do we need to sign loads? I'm kind of hoping we unload a lot of the fringe players, keep the best of the current ones and make a couple of good signings in our weak spots ie RB and CM.

Last year I thought Morgan was really powder puff with the physical side of his game. This year he has really upped that side of his game. Maybe a little two much what with his two red cards and having the most yellows in the team. Still the most technical player in our team IMO.

Adam has improved so much this year, not sure if thats down to Adam, AP or just playing in a better team than last year (maybe all three) hope he stays.

Well the season is done and dusted (well unless you're a real big optimist). So as the dust starts to settle who's your player of the season? Compared to last year it's an embarrasment of richs this season and quite a hard desicion. However after much consideration I'm plumping for ............. Dan Harding I don't think I've seen him have a bad game solid performance week after week. Fantastic performance in the cup final playing out of postion, winning goal against Leeds and all for free (bargain). So who's your player of the season?

Well they might do. As yet no ones been sentenced have they? So people getting upset about what they might get is a bit pointless. The point is if the maximum sentence is five years. They have to accept they might get that and it would be within the judges right to do so wheather anyone considers it fair or not. The best thing they could of done was not get involved.

Irrelevant though isn't it? If they broke the law they broke the law they have to execept the consequences like we all do if we break the law. I really promised my self I wasn't going to bite on this thread too.

I thought Danns turned us down as he didn't want to come to league one. No doubt he will have no trouble getting into another fizzy pop team if Palace get relegated.

It means NC likes to keep his options open. I guess if AP is doing well his contract gets renewed if not someone else gets a shot. Paul Ince is now avaliable;)

Isn't that incident the same as Fonte against Charlton hit on the arm in the penlty box nothing given. I can't believe not one of those chances didn't go in the goal, it wasn't through lack of trying though.

Exactly teams have done this to us all season, sometimes it will work on the other hand if we get a goal they tend to lose. I really don't see the big deal.

I thought the JPT had rules about fielding weakened teams to stop us doing just that. My personal opinion is the club should try an win every competition it enters cup or league.
