I think it's a bit early to be claimming the title "Mystic Delldays" just yet. lets just see how the season pans out this time last season I figured we'd escape relegation by the skin of our teeth and turnned out to be a lot better.

Me too for years I just went when I could afford it, get the time off work, young family all the usual excuses. This year on the back of last season I became a glory seeker. I expected this season to fanatastic didn't want to miss out on "our best season in years".I Even got one for the boy. So I can only conclude that the difference between this season and last is that you and I bought season tickets, Maybe we should hand them back?

The fact is we performed better in his five games in charge than we have since with AP 2wins ,1 draw, 2 loses (1 to PL side) 7 goals scored 3 conceded without AP 0 wins 0 draws 4 loses 0 goals scored 9 conceded APs gone no more point blaming him any more. I just hope Adkins can turn this round, but I don't think we're going up this season.

Blimey I think Nigel should avoid actually playing football everyone loves him already he might spoil it by losing a game. No becuase no one knows. Despite the hoard of supposed ITKers around here no one really has a clue what goes on behind closed doors at saints anymore. In the old days the club had more leaks than a bucket full of holes you couldn't move for ITKers who did actually know something now we all have to rely on the O/S news. So who knows what the review alluded to in the club statement about sacking AP found other than the manger and two coaches didn't fit.

or Ian Baraclough was the brains behind the operation at scunny were as clearly Wilkins wasn't for us. Maybe the scunny players were glad to see the back of Adkins and the saints players weren't happy to see the back of AP. Someone could dress this situation up in lots of ways to suit their agenda.

Thats what I was worried about. We have basically a sound team (they proved that last year, and against Brizzile rovers this season) we don't need lots of player changes we just need someone to get their heads right. They haven't gone from a team that topped the form league at the end of last season to crap players over the summer. Lots of changes in team memebers will just result in more time wasted "gelling" then if we don't go up we'll get all the it wasn't Nigels team excuses. If Nigel is any good he should be able to get good performances out of these players Just as AP did.

I take it your hoping for a load of loans then or playing members of the devolpment squad? do we have enough cover to drop those three? I suppose Pulis could replace Hammond, Holmes for Puncheon and Doble for Lambert .............

I don't think he has to many options on paper the team we've been playing is our strongest despite losing the last three games. It will be interesting to see if our strongest side just play better without Wilkins in charge.

I'm not sure if its fitness or mental TBH they didn't have any trouble when they were putting brizzile to the sword. They just seem to deflate mentally when they go behind this season. Last season they just kept going even when they went a goal behind. Even Lambert looked more like he was struggling mentally than fitness wise to me against Rochdale.

What even evening games? what about trips to Carlisle or Oldham? I mean after Bournemouth fair enough but MK is two hours away they won't get back until after mid-night. Fair play if it's true maybe there not as pampered as I thought.

No I said he made him sound like a nut Job. I never at any point said he was one. I made the point that I'd be worried about anyone carrying that much bagage around. If we win however we will all claim auto promotion is certian, Nigel is the greatest manager in the universe and we have team all the other teams in league one (and the championship) would kill for.

Oh FFS it is possible to be a supporter of Southampton football club and not agree with everything NC does. I love the way the world is so black and white to people on here no dergrees of grey you're either an NC supporter and everything he does is wonderful or your NC hater and everything he does is terrible. Funnily enough I have no major feeling about NC one way or another I'll take each desicion he takes on merit and if I don't agree I'll say so doesn't mean I want the club to crash and burn.

I thought the club statement was clear.They held a review and decided Alan and the 2 coaches didn't fit with the new system, why everybody keeps looking for a hidden reasons behind it is beyond me?
