Doesn't really say much about the game that the only thing anyone is talking about are the two penalty incidents. I thought Redmond's goal was really well taken. I have to say the last two games we've been pretty average. Ralph has made us better by making us work hard on the pitch and be making us well organised, especially at the back, but the squad still lacks much in the way of quality. The subs bench the last two games has been really lacking which makes the lack of reinforcements in Jan baffling.

Eddie Howe talking about the window on Solent. Howe felt they need to strengthen due to some injuries in the squad. The board where very supportive even though Bournemouth had envisaged a very quiet window... Lol at Bournemouth getting in panic signings in Jan Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Another game like Palace where both teams would rather the other team had the ball most of the time we can't both sit deep and hope to counter but then Burnley are the home team so you'd like to think the onus is on them to take the game to us. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

I'd disagree we've been panic buying at all. Carrillo seems the only signing that might fall into the category though I'd suggest that was more a misguided attempt to show support for a failing manager than anything else. If you believe the club all our player recruitment is careful tracked, researched and planned which in theory makes all the turkey's we've recruited even more baffling. We were told be the club we had to shift players out to bring fresh ones in. I think the assumption when we started shifting the out of favour players out, this window, was that it was to allow us to bring in a couple of good players to improve a relegation threatend squad. Maybe people (including myself) shouldn't have made the assumption given the clubs recent history but I get why people are disappointed. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Seriously Wolves were interested

King Les is dead long live king Les It would seem the brave new Reed free new world looks a lot like the old Reed world ….. Happy to see some of the dead wood shipped out but can't believe we didn't strengthen the squad in our position. Lets hope Bertrand and Lemina get back to fitness and Valery, Targett and Ings stay fit.

I was quite happy for us to have a clear out in the squad (plenty of dross in the squad) but I figured it was to free up cash/ wages to strengthen the squad this window. Last night showed that all though we've improved, under Ralph, we still have a lot to do. Our bench looked particularly weak last night. Unless we pull something out the bag today it seems odd we've not made more of this transfer window. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

The issue is as soon as we go four at the back we will be easier to counter attack by sides like Palace. Our CBs have proved time and again that playing in a four they suck balls. I still think the formation would work better with higher quality wing backs with more pace than Targett and Valery. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

JWP did foul Zaha you can see the two handed push on the replays. He probably should have got a free kick. Having said that Zaha's reaction was massively over the top for the sort of foul that goes on in every game and frequently don't get give to lots of players who don't feel the need to react like he did. Happy with the point after a very meh performance from us. Palace were better than us and probably deserved the 3pts. Looking at the stats this was the first time in a while where we had more possession than the opposition and we looked terrible with it. Not a game where to many players looked good. McCarthy seemed off last night not his usual assured performance especially at corners and crosses. Targett spent most of the night in the pocket of palaces right back (who looks a prospect). The forward line hardly seemed to get into the game Ings and Redmond both quiet. Armstrong s introduction seemed to give us more energy and our best spell came after that. Shout out to Bednarek not his best game but vital headed clearance off the line. As for Zaha what a tosser. I think he had a case for a free kick against JWP, who pushed him, but by his reaction you'd think he had just been on the end of a real leg breaker. I really don't know why Zaha, Palace and their fans seem to think he should get some sort of special protection fouls happen and lots go unpunished in every game the **** needs to man up. Does Zaha have to cry every time some one tackles him....and the tosser gets sent off for descent[emoji1] Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Get in!!! we don't really deserve that but who give a **** [emoji16] Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Palace's RB **** Bazooka or what ever he is called has Targett so deep in his pocket it's going to take Matty a week to crawl out. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

What's happened to McCarthy seems to have had an attack of Forsteritis.. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Yeah the 10 day break to prepare doesn't seem to have been good for us. Problem is the squad doesn't have any quality in depth at the moment to make many changes. Need Bertrand and Lemina back a signing or two would be nice but that is looking increasingly unlikely. Valery ( or god forbid Ramsey) and Targett for the rest of the season is worrying. We've done alright against teams who want the ball but Palace want to do the same as us nick it in midfield, through pressing, and then get it forward quick to attack. It seems we don't really know what to do when teams do it to us. Not that we have much on the bench to change it but that's a good thing now right? I'd be tempted to swap JWP for Armstrong in the middle. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

According to Solent that's only Zaha's second goal in 18 PL games which surprised me. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Shame Armstrong seems to be dropping out of the picture again he was just starting to find form at the end of the Hughes era getting back in the team and scoring goals. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
