  1. Brexit is the sort of victory Pyrrhus of Epirus would win..
  2. So 28 members of the ERG have left because a.. "Hardcore element of ‘Unicorn’ dreamers now actually endangering Brexit.” https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1111622/Brexit-news-ERG-Jacob-Rees-Mogg-Theresa-May-Conservative-party-leave-eu-Leo-varadkar/amp Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  3. Surely they'll go up next season LED flood lights, flamethrowers and Ministry of Sound CDs to improve the match day experience don't come cheap you know... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  4. yep me and the nipper got one warning us about bad behaviour.
  5. Speaking of away fans is it me are they smuggling in smoke bombs on a regular basis these days? another one was set off last night. No one ever seems to take an action when one goes off yet if it was in the home end stewards would be all over it and banning orders would no doubt swiftly follow.
  6. Since Ralph took over practically every team has more possession against us but Liverpool never looked like opening us up I was surprised how poor their attack was. Mane was their main dangerous outlet and even his final ball was awful. We didn't do enough to win in the second half but a draw would have been a good result for us and achievable until we threw everyone up for the corner with 10 minutes to go.
  7. There was trouble in the Itchen a pool fan tried to get across the barrier got jumped by a load of stewards and a very game lady police officer and got dragged off in cuffs. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  8. Second goal was a killer at 1-1 on 80 minutes why commit so many forward on a corner? Up to that point Liverpool had looked pretty average and didn't really look like breaking us down and then we gifted them a goal... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  9. My first thought was if it was so awful why doesn't he give up football now rather than at 34? I'm sure he has enough cash to live comfortably ( though if he spends 20 plus grand on a night out maybe not) and could always get a regular Joe job if he doesn't. No one is forcing him to be a well paid footballer. He has a point on the racist stuff though money fines of FAs aren't the right punishment they need to ban countries from playing internationals something that would hurt the fans carrying out the abuse. 10. Among a lot of recent poor signings I guess you have to give the club credit for this one. He cost us very little in terms of today's transfer fees, but is coming on leaps and bounds, and looks very at home in the PL. If he keeps this up no doubt we will sell him on for a tidy fee. The club needs to work hard to be making more signings like Jan and less like Moi. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  11. Damn it that's the sort of Lambert like, powering header, at the back post type goal I was hoping he was going to score for us when we signed him. I hope Ralph gives all the loanees the once over, with a clean slate, in pre-season (well maybe not Hoedt). I can't see us spending much in the summer( more likely a summer squad clear out I reckon). So if he can turn any of that out of favour lot into a useful player more power to him. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  12. EU says it would not open talks with UK after no-deal Brexit until it agrees to divorce bill and Irish backstop https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/politics/brexit-no-deal-eu-juncker-irish-border-backstop-theresa-may-a8852756.html I think most people knew this but it rather smashes the idea that " No deal" was our ace in the hole that leavers wanted to believe it was. 13. I really want to get a result in this one a win would be bloody amazing but in reality a draw would be great for us and most likely **** up their title chances. A tight 2-2 with us scoring an equaliser on 90 + 4 ,with the last kick of the game, would be a good start to the weekend. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  14. Disrupting the railways? like anyone would notice late or non arriving trains. I assume the culprits don't use the British rail network very often or they would release train delays are a daily occurrence. this made me laugh though The contraptions were designed to tell signal workers that a train was stuck on the line, bringing lines to the halt. They failed to disrupt services due to rules introduced to comply with EU regulations, the Daily Mirror reported.
  15. So are we just going to see the HoC reject May's deal and then reject their own ideas, over and over again, until we just drop out with no deal...
  16. something to do with a pony?

  18. I see the promised mass civil disobedience that not leaving the EU would create has started.. Five people have been arrested at the pro-Brexit March to Leave demonstration in London, police say. The Metropolitan Police said two people were arrested for assault, one for being drunk and disorderly, and another for assaulting a police officer. A fifth person was held after they were identified as being wanted for an offence in Hertfordshire. edgy stuff... https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/five-arrested-at-brexit-march-as-protesters-descend-on-downing-street/ar-BBVpejt?ocid=spartandhp
  19. At this point in the season, in our position, points are all that matters...good thing to as the performance today was pretty Meh....
  20. sounds like the plot to a really disturbing porno...
  21. So the leave rally in London ( well technically two leave rallies) numbered a few thousand a week after a million where marching to support remain. . Apparently when it was revealed that May' s deal had been shot shot down again half the crowd cheered and the half shouted shame [emoji1787] Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  22. The margin of defeat is getting lower each time if May can just get another four or five goes at getting the deal through the HoC she might finally get everyone to just give up and vote for it...[emoji1787] Honestly though the whole thing is getting embarrassing now. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  23. Probably but then you get the feeling most of them would rather be relieved of the responsibility. It's almost like they are terrified of making any decisions now the whole subject is so toxic. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  24. Surely its time to just hold another referendum? The government and HoC seem totally unable to sort out this crap. Its been three years since the last public vote and a **** load of water has gone under the bridge old voters have died, new voters have become eligible and we all now have a much better idea of what leave actual means. Seeing as leaving is pretty much a one way ticket it would be the responsible and democratic thing to do check public opinion hasn't change after three years. So just ask the public again, remain or leave?, and if its leave May's Deal or no deal? What ever the result implement it within in a month and then we can all just get on with our lives.
