  1. My teenage children...
  2. its more ridiculous when you see what he did..... Mr Davies had tried to split the cost of £700 worth of pictures between two office budgets by creating fake invoices, when he could have claimed the amount by other means.
  3. Mr Field is all up for helping women feel safe and protected and have the right to speak freely “The UK remains committed to helping women all over the world to feel safe and protected in the work they do, so they can speak freely and be part of the change we all want. My remarks at the Westminster Hall Debate on Women Human Rights Defenders.” Mark Field MP, Foreign office minister, 9 May 2019
  4. Who ever the new PM is he might have one less MP. MP Chris Davies unseated after petition triggers by-election A by-election will be held in Brecon and Radnorshire after 10,005 people signed a petition to remove the constituency's Conservative MP, Chris Davies. Mr Davies had been*convicted of a false expenses claim in March*. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-wales-politics-48720176 Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

  6. A generally election where both main parties are led by unelectable cretins and no other party represents a credible alternative in a FPtP system most likely resulting in another weak goverment. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  7. ****ing hell next GE will likely be a choice between a Boris led Conservative party or a Corbyn led Labour party that's like asking would like to be shot in your left leg or your right? I can see the Lib Dems doing quite well at the next election just by not being one of those two horrendous options.
  8. Here's an article about West brom's Chinese owner. Interesting what he said when he bought the baggies "When Lai bought the club he said he wanted it to remain ‘self-sustaining’, and the only investment he has made since is a £6m purchase of Chinese striker Zhang Yuning". Guochuan Lai tells West Brom he can't settle £4.1m debt because of Chinese government restrictions https://www.expressandstar.com/sport/football/west-bromwich-albion/2019/06/18/guochuan-lai-tells-west-brom-he-cant-settle-41m-debt-because-of-chinese-government-restrictions/ Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  9. They where exciting and entertaining because we where winning most weeks bar the odd shock. It's fun being a big fish in a small pond now we are the minnow, suffering from fin rot and swim bladder, in a big pond it's not so much fun... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  10. Yeah like drug cartel bosses...reckon a PL club would be any good for laundering drug money [emoji848][emoji16] Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

  12. Season ticket sales up this summer Southampton have already sold more season tickets for next season than the previous one https://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/17695684.southampton-have-already-sold-more-season-tickets-for-next-season-than-the-previous-one/ Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  13. The last time a team outside the big six won an FA or League cup was the 2012-2013 season they have the cups sown up as much as the league these days . Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  14. Well if you want to look at a positive it doesn't look like he is using the club as a source of income he isn't putting anything in but it doesn't look like he is taking anything out which was a fear of some on here. Also while we'd all love loads of financial investment from the owner it PL terms it doesn't look like he has a pot to **** in (worth 147 million?) there is always a fear owners like that will gamble and spend money they don't really have and rake up big debts putting the club in financial difficulty doesn't look like that will happen here so we will be in a safe but rather boring pair of hands.
  15. Pretty much confirms what we all knew I think. The club is expected to be self sustaining there won't be any help from the owner. Given that we really need to start getting our recruitment spot on we can't afford to carry dead wood on the wage bill and we need to be finding players we can sell on for profit a couple of seasons down the line. 16. The Welsh government has changed position on Brexit and will now be campaigning for the UK to stay in the EU. https://www.theneweuropean.co.uk/top-stories/wales-switches-to-remain-1-6089245 Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  17. Yeah I've given up on YouTube vids. Moi's YouTube video, last summer, shows him banging in goals left right and centre in a lesser league. I've become a bit jaded with our signings last couple of seasons so I'll just wait and watch him in the flesh before I get excited. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  18. Rubbish plenty of players leave and the fans still respect them. Lambert never suffered one minute of abuse after leaving for Liverpool. I've seen players like Ormerod and Cork subbed of the pitch, for opposition teams, to warm applause from saints fans. I'm pretty sure if Pelle, Tadic or JRod rocked up at SMS on matchday they'd get plenty of respect from the fans. The players who get grief are the ones who were seen as not going about a transfer in the right way. If you refuse to play, cause problems or meet opposition managers in seedy Blackpool hotels while under contract to SFC to force a move you deserve all the abuse you get.
  19. Neither, if this article is anything to go by. It would seem the aim is to make other countries pay more for US pharmaceuticals, so US citizens pay less at home, which means overturning a long standing agreement the NHS has held with US drug companies. Donald Trump is ready to use trade talks to force the National Health Service to pay more for its drugs as part of his scheme to "put American patients first”. Mr Trump has claimed that the high costs faced by US patients are a direct result of other countries’ health services “freeloading” at America’s expense. Alex Azar, the US Health and Human Services Secretary, has said Washington will use its muscle to push up drug prices abroad, to lower the cost paid by patients in the United States. "On the foreign side, we need to, through our trade negotiations and agreements, pressure them," Azar said on CNBC. "And so we pay less, they pay more. It shouldn't be a one-way ratchet. We all have some skin in this game." He continued: "The reason why they are getting better net prices than we get is their socialised system." In the UK, prices are dictated in part by National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) which has been successful in securing discounts for some of the costliest drugs. Single-payer government-run health services like the NHS are able to use their negotiating muscle to pay far lower prices than their fragmented insurance-based private American counterparts, to the fury of the US president. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2018/05/15/trump-threatens-use-us-trade-talks-force-nhs-pay-drugs/
  20. That relies on the team doing their part. Last couple of seasons they've not exactly given the crowd much to get excited about. Despite what people like to think fans of every team generally only sing when they're winning. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  21. IIRC correctly the away fans can't be moved due to the way SMS is set up the old bill won't allow it
  22. Except they want to be next to the away fans. The noisy home fans and away fans feed off each other they don't want to be at the opposite ends of the ground. Why don't people seem to understand that the Northam/Itchen North fans want to be in those areas of the ground because its next to the away fans... Maybe this new lot of Ultras can move to the middle of the Chapel or something to create a bit of atmosphere down that end of the ground but I don't expect the usual vocal fans to want to move.
  23. To crush my enemies …. See them driven before me, and to hear the lamentation of their women!.
  24. I also suspect he'd be secretly gutted if we actually leave the EU he has made a great living out of being an MEP and being the anti European guy. The inability of parliament to sort out brexit has no doubt been great for his bank balance. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
