I had a look at KUMB to it's a bit odd, given the respective league positions and general recent form, that saints fans seem quite pessimistic about a result in this game and West ham fans seem strangely confident. I guess our recent games against them have generally favoured West Ham even when they are **** they always seem to pull out a result against us.

While having an outside chance of Europe will keep the season interesting a bit longer I cant see us getting into Europe, this season, this team is to bloody inconsistent and quite frankly after the start we made to this season (and the last couple of seasons) a solid mid table finish would be a decent outcome this season.

Didn't we finish 8th with a cup final last time we were in Europe? hardly seems like a disastrous domestic season.

I stand in the Itchen North and the support is good there. Which ever bunch of lads moved in there this season just about keep going all game long ( winning or losing) and they try to to vary the songs/ chants. They start and the rest around them join in so around me it's a decent atmosphere most of the time. They can't really help it if the rest of the ground can't be arsed to chime in though. Was it last season ( or the one before) they destroyed a good Poch spurs side, who where playing a high line press, by utilizing Mane's pace? I can see the same happening today against us. I don't think it's killing fan celebrations its not like we celebrated goals that weren't then disallowed before VAR. Also it has introduced a whole new sub- genre of taking the **** out of opposition fans when VAR rules a goal out. VAR generates quite a bit of banter between opposition fans when it kicks in now. Don't know about pitch side monitor but Bertrand was sent of after a retrospective look by VAR in the Leicester game. First time I can remember us conceding a goal and getting a man sent off (that didn't involve a penalty) at the same time.

Pompey at home so we can all go and see the ****s get battered rather than a lucky few. Also dicking them twice in one season would be great.
