No panic from me after one game but I wouldnt expect Hoj to make any difference in a game like this... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

As we saw last season he has one way of playing one that doesn't really work against teams that, like Burnely, don't won't the ball. We actually looked better, last season against the big teams and those that want to play football like Leicester. If we can't press and counter and are reduced to breaking teams down with skill and guile we can't do it. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

It's been the same for the last few seasons against lower half teams like Burnely. We might play same decent stuff, at times, but we don't take our few chances and then we get punished and fall apart. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Well there's a surprise As usual ****e team keep us out, as we **** up our chances, and then sucker punches us, against the run of play, happens every bloody season.... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

It's hard to take her views seriously when you find out she is a lesbian who has two kids with her partner yet stands against gay marriage as a threat to traditional family life. A far right politician who stands against immigration from the middle East but employees a Syrian cleaning lady in her Swiss house. And a women who sued a German satire TV show who it latter transpired pay her to help them come up with content. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

We Started off quite strong but the energy and press just tailed off as the half went on. Adams looks ok the rest of them pretty much picking up where they left off last season Not a fan of hoj/ jwp combo in the middle just seems to lack something in terms of drive and quality on the ball. Defence looks ok hasn't been really tested but still had a few keystone cops moments. Attack started promising but doesn't seem to be quite clicking Redmond not really getting into the game. Ing's penalties are crap. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Yeah I think we can be comfortable mid table. Outside the top six all the squads are pretty average any team that can get a few a wins and build some confidence and momentum can push for 7th ( like Burnely did). The big spenders outside the top six like Everton and Liecester are still miles off the big boys and not much better than the rest of the division. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

First thing I thought as I read it. He is certainly not the sort LD and his coffin dodgers would want in their conservative party. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk -

Interesting view from a young ex conservative party member. I wonder if he is a one off or if others will follow his lead. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/young-moderate-conservatives-like-me-no-longer-have-any-place-in-the-party-h2stbk90x Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk -

Another potential spanner in Boris's all we need is optimism ( and a great American trade deal) and **** the Irish border plan. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/jul/31/brexit-mess-with-good-friday-and-well-block-uk-trade-deal-us-politicians-warn Any future US-UK trade deal would almost certainly be blocked by the US Congress if Brexit affects the Irish border and jeopardises peace in Northern Ireland, congressional leaders and diplomats have warned. We signed several CBs before that though problem is they've all been a bit average (which is being very kind to Hoedt). We where spoiled by having Toby and VVD for a few seasons we are unlikely to see CBs of their quality again in red and white (unless we get really flukey) it doesn't help that very good CBs are heavily sought after now and totally out of our price range. Most PL clubs are now paying huge money for very meh players.

odd way to look at it but OK...

We will be lucky to keep him after this season anyway if he does well he'll move on to better, if he does badly he'll blame the club's lack of ambition and move anyway if he does really badly he'll be sacked.... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk

Saturday 3pm - Spain kicks up a fuss - TV versus the fans ?
doddisalegend replied to manina-pub's topic in The Saints
In this country throwing a tennis ball on the pitch or blowing a whistle would probably get you a five year banning order. Being silent might work but people would probably have trouble telling the difference between protest silence and a normal PL match... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
