  1. Yet plenty of leavers have been lapping that **** up for years, from the red tops, and take it all as gospel. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  2. I thought Wes told me on this thread his grandmother's family were Italian immigrants given that surely he has no problem with immigration to this country from Europe? Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  3. An article that seems to sum up Boris pretty well https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/columnists/johnson-cant-escape-the-clutches-of-mays-zombie-brexit-deal/ar-AAH5IYS?ocid=spartandhp He reads from the Trump playbook at home, but puts it hastily down when grownup EU leaders enter the room. He is too weak-willed to play the typical nationalist strongman. He saddled the populist tiger and rode it towards a no-deal Brexit, but look closely and you see a queasy expression, as if there is a part of him that wants to get off.
  4. This. Not because we had the best saints team ever that season (clearly we were in league 1) but because it signalled us really turning a corner we went from being on our knees to signing Lambert, the divisions top scorer, for big money, then signing Fonte in Jan for an even higher fee and we also signed the divisions second highest scorer (at the time) in Lee Barnard in Jan. It was just such a good feeling to be the big boys for a while buying up the best players we could for big money (at the level we were playing at). In fact Fonte and Lambert are still in top eight of all time most expensive buys in league 1.
  5. There are going to be some disappointed people if Boris gets his way.. A majority of both Conservative (55%) and Leave (60%) voters, however, think a no-deal Brexit would result in a clean break from the EU, meaning the country could then focus on something else https://yougov.co.uk/opi/surveys/re Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  6. Cheap shot I know but I couldn't resist [emoji6] Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  7. That wasn't at you he already explained his autocorrect changed it to his usual search engine request. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah I agree. If labour had someone like Blair ( not that l was a big fan of his) in charge they would be cleaning up in a GE. As it is I can't see anyone getting a comfortable majority at the moment another conservative party with a very small majority is most likely I reckon. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  9. The opposition don't need an election right now they have the government by the bollix and it's all of Boris's own making. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  10. Brave man if your prepared to eat food at Fratton. I imagine the shear amount of airborne bacteria would make eating sarnies an immediate case of Gastroenteritis..
  11. It's the mad thing labour would be a shoe in at GE if they had just about anyone but Jeremy and the gang in charge. I can't work out why they have stuck with him for so long really. The last few years should have been an absolute gift for the leader of the opposition and yet Corbyn has still failed to really appeal to voters. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  12. New plan from Boris and the gang. I mean he could actually try to re-negotiate the deal and do some hard graft but apparently just being a **** seems like a better idea. Boris Johnson is threatening to sabotage the EU to make it cave in on a Brexit deal – or reject MPs’ plan to stop the UK crashing out of the bloc. In a dramatic escalation of its battle with Brussels, Downing Street believes it has devised a way out of the crisis to make the EU no longer “legally constituted”, paralysing its decision-making. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/brexit/boris-johnson-plotting-scheme-to-render-eu-no-longer-legal-in-desperate-bid-to-escape-brexit-trap/ar-AAGXla1?ocid=spartandhp Of course the swivels will lap it up seems like cutting of our nose to spite our face in the future dealing with the EU to me.
  13. Bit before my time mate I did have a quick goggle search for 1970s football and got this image reckon you got the legs to pull it off?
  14. come on Micky it takes a bit more effort than that you have to dress like a proper casual or though 80s retro might be acceptable (please check with the committee)
  15. If the away end at Fratton doesn't look like this on the telly I'm going to be very disappointed with ericb and SKD
  16. e-mail from the club "we can now confirm all on-sale dates for our Carabao Cup clash against Portsmouth, with our sales criteria beginning with 19/20 Season Ticket holders who have attended 10 or more away matches since the start of our 18/19 campaign". so that's a ST and 10 aways.... looks like it will be radio Solent for me. So ****ed it wasn't a home game
  17. Well you have to say the last few days Boris has looked every bit the towering statesman, in the Churchillian mould, that Boris imagines himself to be. [emoji38] Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  18. Is the criteria going to be away games? I only ask because I'm sure in the past tickets for cup games are frequently linked to how many other cup games you've been to. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  19. I think they only count players who haven't played or made the bench so far this season which Stephens has. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  20. Thought this was an interesting piece on each PL club and the players they are stuck with because they couldn't shift them before the window closed https://www.football365.com/news/frozen-out-and-stuck-the-53-players-not-even-on-bench While it doesn't make our situation any better ( I think the piece rather underplays our situation) I think it does highlight that most PL club's have there share of unwanted players either past their best (but unwilling to take a drop in wages) or transfers that just didn't workout. 21. might have something to do with the fact he got two assists and scored against them in both legs of a Europa league tie a few years back when he played for molde [video=youtube;pzH320Axs-c] https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34694672
  22. I think the decision was more Lemina's than the clubs he was the one who decided he'd done his time and should now move on. Can't blame Ralph for not wanting players who aren't 100% up for it. Yesterday showed quite clearly that Ralph's style needs players who will work the arses off and show commitment to the cause.
  23. Good game to be at. Can't fault the players effort of work rate today at times though they are just let down by their own lack of quality. Defence was pretty solid help out by a bit of luck. Midfield was decent mostly thanks to Romeu who was Motm today one of his best performances in a long time Attack looked about as threatening as a blunt, rusty butter knife. Neither Ings, Adams or Boufal looked threatening to often over doing it in the final third and wasting the few opportunities we had. Danso looks like a good player quick, strong good with the ball. A shame about the red card but then the ref was just looking to give man u an advantage so at least he was happy. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  24. Train strikes on match day forcing you to take the bus which costs more and takes 4 times longer to get to Southampton.... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
