  1. When your pig changes her make up it takes a while to work out if you like the new look or not.... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  2. Looks like Jez has had a change of heart. Jeremy Corbyn announced that Labour will officially back a second referendum as he dismissed Boris Johnson’s new Brexit deal with the EU. 3. Angela Merkel has told EU leaders a Brexit extension would be unavoidable if British MPs vote down the deal agreed with Boris Johnson. During private talks at the EU summit, the German chancellor told her fellow leaders they could not pretend an extension would not be offered to the UK if it was requested, according to a source familiar with the discussions. https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/oct/18/brexit-extension-unavoidable-if-mps-reject-deal-says-merkel Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  4. If it isn't it probably should be.. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  5. Except in this case the criminal who administered the justice is also a convicted child abuser so I doubt this was vigilante justice anyway. More a case of nonce on nonce. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  6. No one is going to get upset about this. The guy was scum the guy the killed him was also a sex attacker (an underage girl was among his victims) so he will no doubt be tried in court and spend even longer in jail which is a win win for everyone. I doubt any one wants a country where braying mobs dispense summary justice ( I know I don't) but in this case the deed is done and given the nature of the victim it is impossible to get upset about it. 7. The DUP have to pander to their support in NI from their point of view anything that marks NI out as different from the rest of the Union or might encourage closer ties with the Republic is dangerous. I'm not sure a load of cash will cut it this time. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  8. Not really the end game for the Lib Dems is to force another referendumm So they are trying to bring that about by blocking a deal or a no deal in the eventual hope it goes back to the people, to vote stay, a second time around. Not saying it's the right strategy ( or the wrong) or that it will work but having set out their stall as firmly anti leave they can't really back a deal to err.. leave. 9. Let's be fair if you are an opponent of brexit then you have every right to reject anything but not leaving. I can respect the Lib Dems position, for example, becuase they are upfront about where they stand. More bizarre are those who profess to want to leave but then keep blocking attempts to leave because it's seen as some sort of surrender to the nasty foreigners. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  10. Well to be fair if it's a massive club going out of business it won't be us [emoji6] Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  11. I get the feeling the DUP would secretly love a hard border. What they don't want under any circumstances is anything that promotes the idea NI is in some way different to the rest of the Uk which undermines their unionist ideals. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  12. Early indications would suggest the PM isn't going to get a lot of support for his deal. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/10/17/uk-and-eu-agree-on-new-brexit-deal-boris-johnson-says.html Johnson faced a Saturday deadline by law to request an extension to the current Brexit departure date of Oct. 31 had no deal been reached. Whether the deal will be approved in Westminster is in doubt, however, with opposition parties already criticizing it. While details of the new deal remain scant, the U.K. opposition Labour party said in a statement that "from what we know, it seems the Prime Minister has negotiated an even worse deal than Theresa May's, which was overwhelmingly rejected." The pro-Remain Liberal Democrats also said they were determined to stop Brexit altogether and still advocated a second referendum. The leader of the Brexit Party, Nigel Farage, said the deal should not be supported. The Scottish National Party (SNP) has also said it will not vote for the deal. A key ally of the government, the Northern Irish Democratic Unionist Party (DUP), has already responded by saying that it cannot support the deal. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  13. So are there any details of Boris's great new deal? Is it radically different to May's deal or is it just the same deal, with a bit of cosmetic surgery, to try and make Boris look good? Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  14. Apparently it was all Boris's idea Trump claims Boris Johnson asked him to arrange surprise meeting between Harry Dunn’s parents and woman accused over his death ‘I spoke with Boris, he asked me if I’d do that and I did it,’ US president says Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  15. So the DUP says they cannot support Boris's new plan. Will that matter is he really counting on their votes in the HoCs? Or will enough MPs get behind his deal? DUP 'cannot support' Brexit deal as Johnson heads to Brussels https://a.msn.com/r/2/AAIUqNa?m=en-gb&referrerID=InAppShare The DUP has issued a statement fromArlene Foster and Nigel Dodds saying that “as things stand, we could not support what is being suggested on customs and consent issues and there is a lack of clarity on VAT. “We will continue to work with the Government to try and get a sensible deal that works for Northern Ireland and protects the economic and constitutional integrity of the United Kingdom.” Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  16. Looks like his attacker is another evil **** sex offender certainly not some sort of vigilante hero. https://news.sky.com/story/british-paedophile-richard-huckle-was-killed-by-sex-offender-reports-11836271 Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  17. Not a lot to discuss. He was evil scum and I won't shed a tear over his death. Having said that I'm not going to condone vigilante justice, society can't function that way, and let's face the guy that killed him is probably a scumbag to. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  18. My great, great grandaddy didn't need a parachute, when he jumped out of a spitfire, to fight the krauts at the battle of Trafalgarloo, in some war we won against the frogs, wearing nothing but a union jack and carrying a picture of queen Victoria gawd bless her. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  19. Is the nation sick of brexit? That seems to be the view mostly put forward by leave politicians as a reason we should just go "no deal". Personally I'm not of the view we should just get out, and hang the consequences, just becuase people are getting bored of it. Surely no one thought leaving the EU was going to be quick and easy... Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  20. My answer though was specifically aimed at "Nothing to do with anything other than actually wanting a club to support." So I think the point stands relegation doesn't automatically mean the end of a club. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  21. really in what way does history proves it would be a disaster? There are plenty of different scenarios with relegation some clubs like West Brom, Norwich and Newcastle have bounced between the two leagues for years seemingly with out to much ill effect. On the other you have Leeds, Sunderland and Bolton none of which have had great years since relegation but all of those clubs are still going (Bolton by the skin of there teeth). Not many teams disappear altogether we survived admin, Leeds did hell the blue few down the road survived several. Relegation might not lead to more fun in the lower leagues but it certainly doesn't automatically mean administration.
  22. Turns out the PMs own dad is anti capitalist crusty [emoji15] https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-49987567 Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  23. So your grandmother was a housewife that barely left the house? What exactly did she do to make your generation the luckiest to be alive? My mum was also a housewife and gave me a very nice childhood but it would be a bit of a stretch to credit her with doing much more than being a loving mum to her kids. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  24. There is only so many times we can be unlucky against teams after a while you have to conclude maybe it's something other than luck. Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
  25. Well if their is some way she can stand in the next GE for the Lib Dems I'm all for it Sent from my moto g(6) using Tapatalk
