Yeah they did have his registration, but what puzzles me is why did they wait until after they went into admin to bring him back? Did they need their bank account unfrozen to do the deal? If he wasnt going to cost anything why didnt they bring him in much sooner?

Have absolutely no doubt Adkins will get Billy Sharp into shape like he did with Rickie...He will get a few goals for us this season but I think we will see the best from him next season. Lee is going to be the man to push us forward to promotion...That wonder goal is going to give him a huge confidence boost he could be something special for us.

This has gone beyond Saints fans wanting Pompey to suffer (well that is fun of course) For me this is as a fan of football in general completely unfair, even if I wasn a Saints fan I would still have the same views. I feel really sorry for the bottom 3 in the Championship and teams like Bornemouth, Luton etc who never had this kind of treatment..Never had their problem being fought by an MP and brought up in PM Questions. When Saints were going through this we did do it right, got rid of the high earners and played the youth. We paid our dues and learnt our lessons and now much stronger for it. Cant see Pompey ever learning..mind you they dont have to when they have their own personal b***h working for the Football League.

Someone said it before..Portsmouth must have something over one of the higher ups of the Football League because this is special treatment. They continue to take the p*** and cheat.

Im having a bit of a debate with this "Ref" on The Sun website. He said: "pauljames87......law of the game (I'm a ref) states if a player pushes or strikers another (not a punch) its a yellow unless its above the shoulders then its a red so its a yellow card it will be overturned no doubt " I replied that it was above his shoulders as his hand was around his neck!...He then replied: "pauljames87....so what about the punch that sharp aimed at noble (why taylor steped in) and he dives down to avoid a red? scumbag in the lowest form" WHAT PUNCH? Do I need better glasses or something?

I think they are in denial that a refs decision has gone against them, they are so used to having the ref give them everything. Well apart from Nolan being sent off the other week, but the ref made up for that with that "goal". Seriously if the referees had made the correct decisions in their games so far would they even be in the playoffs?

@trousers...Yeah when I first discovered this forum years ago I used to just browse through it before signing up to it. When I signed up and used the name lifelongsaint83 I knew I had seen it before then of course found out there was a lifelongsaint on here before me. If I could change it I would, dont want to get done for copywrite!

I hardly ever post on here I just read what everyone else is saying, but this is winding me up a little. Even after the photos of Taylor having his hand around Sharps throat, the video of him being pushed to the ground and the fact he doesnt hold his face like Fat Sam and the fans say he did they are still saying its a yellow at best and that its Sharps fault. Now they are appealing...I thought Pompey fans were deluded, but West Ham are right up there. Unless they are awarded multiple penalties and have the ref in their back pocket giving them every decision they feel hard done by and kick off with their b*****ks!.....Rant over This is fun, might pay my £5 and get full membership:)
