After the game there was an pre game interview with NA talking about 2011 in general.Just before the interview they said "sources" from the club confimed we were not interested in Maynard and one other player (the other I cant recall.) NA never talked about this. He did say that "purchases would only be made if the player is better than we have.....

Walking away tonight, I thought it was pretty even. Too lose it was harsh.....

Was sat in the Kingsland (pitch side) watching De Ridder, thought his approach play was superb today. However he seemed so tired from the sprints the end product had little composure with regard to the crosses put in...

With every will in the world I wanted Bart to put in a decent showing today. Before the game I was thinking what kind of Bart would we get? Sadly it didnt take long to find out. I hate knocking Saints players BUT this was just not good enough. Bart, cheers for your efforts but its time to move on.......

Just back from game, thought both full backs were excellent. Central defence was the weak part as far as I could tell and better teams will expose this. Gully had the best game I have seen him. Adam was brilliant with almost every touch. Was really happy to see De Ridder placed in the starting but nothing really came off for him sadly. Watford really struggled to contain saints in the 2nd half. Chaplow needs credit too...Very lively. Well done to all.
