Got it. I`ll most likely contact you tomorrow afternoon, after speaking to my travelling-compadre !
-
I`ll have to discuss it with my companion, but to me the idea of a quick taxi instead of a tiresome journey by a zillion different trains,is appealing. cant you just get this "American Psycho"-chap to Pm me your e-mail then?
-
thats what my initial investigations have shown..the key is to get to Waterloo. what kind off country do you live in,when a journey about 150 kilometres long should take several hours by public transportation ?? FFS
-
a taxi for 150 doesnt seem that bad at all,if the journey is four effing hours. do you know any possible candidates for us,then..?
-
no,norwegian from Tromsø. arrival at Stanstead 20.30,friday the 17 october. seems like a crap journey to get to Soton..aaarg,I was hoping to get some beers before midnight !
-
thanks, maybe I`ll read that if no-one does know,or cant be bothered to adress my questions
-
Hi guys. just wondering how the hell I`m getting from Stanstead Airport to Southampton on a friday night ? whats the easiest travel, whats the cheapest & whats the fastest..? never done that journey before. are there any trains/busses/whatever going directly from Stanstead,or do I have to make my way to a trainstation in London central..? being a foreigner,I am not very familiar with travelling in England,so any good advice would be much appreciated !
-
a good win,and extremely important for confidence ! well done, lads.
-
what the hell?? have we scored two in five minutes ?? :D COYR!!
-
I quite like the line-up today...COYR !
-
agreed. Portvliet complains he hasnt got enough fit wide players, and now he loans out the the one with the best potential..? madness. our style depends on fast wingers, and Nathan fits that bill even though he hasnt shown very much so far this season.
-
the lack of pace in that team,is shocking. a turtoise would sprint circles round that lot. but maybe they could create some chances from set pieces (if they manage to get to the byline in 90 minutes)
-
what made your genious mind come to that conclusion, the bit about possesion,or the bit about teams ABOVE us winning ? moron.
-
COYR ! got a good feeling about this one, funnily enough..
-
agreed. the modern footballer is getting taller & taller, and physique becomes even more relevant when there is a lot left to desire ability-wise. (as in this league) when it comes to Gillet, his size is a problem because of his role in the team. he is supposed to tackle and challenge, both in the air and on the ground. with such a poor disposition,he is always going to struggle in this position,IMO.
-
I tend to agree... we had a kid looking just like Lloyd back at primary school. he was the one who always got picked last, and in some ways he and James are very similar ! on the pitch,Lloyd has got this "excuse me for excisting"-attitude,which is very annoying to watch.
-
Thats a very a good point, and I like the idea.
-
I`d play both Dyer and Skacel TBF... Nathan`s pace is a very rear asset, there must be a way to utilise this better.. Skacel should be given the chance now Holmes is injured,at least he has something the rest of the team lacks: a good shooting foot, and accurate crossing !
-
bit rich coming from the poor soul who uses every & any,-relevant or irrelevant- opportunity to spout crap when something remotely GB-connected comes up. even from you mentally impaired individuals, such double-standards are laughable. ..IN MY OPINION OF COURSE...(followed by a childlike LOL,with eyes spinning round and saliva running down the restraining shirt)
-
first of all...WELL DONE,Theo ! shame our other "modern era genius" missed a penalty kick.. but does anybody here actually KNOW that we have waived the payments based on England apperances off, aswell as the ones for playing for the Arse..? isn`t there a slight possibility that the instalments based on England Caps is still is valid,or would that just be wishful thinking from my side..?
-
wow,two goals from corner kicks..wish the first team could reproduce that effort ! didnt know Nathan Dyer had a good "corner-foot"in him, what with his poor crossing shown in open play.
-
96 goal scoring chances in our first 6 games

that would make it 69,if the four against the posts doesnt count as off/on target...maybe Jan has just read these stats, and remembered them the wrong way round -
Daily Echo - LALLANA Fulham bid rejected...SPURS INTEREST TOO

but no-one with a sane mind would say "no thanks" to a 4 year contract at 20-40 K per week TBF. even if it meant staying on the bench for those years.they`d be set for life, and still have about 8-9 years left to play footie after that contract has expired.. -
Yes,Alpine..yes. exactly the same, nail on the head there-once again !
-
Challenging well..? he lost every header conceivable to imagination. and nor did he make one single successful challenge on the ground..if he doesnt up his game for the coming match,I`d say we should play Cork in his place for a couple of months..let Killer play himself in form for the reserves during that time ! or even better: he could prove me wrong and be MOTM next wekend
