  3. John Bailey and Tom Parker discuss the 2016-17 Premier League season through the eyes of Southampton Football Club. http://saintsfcpod.libsyn.com/ Part 1 of the end of season review takes a whistle stop tour through the entire season, starting with Ronald Koeman, Mane, Wanyama and Pelle leaving, with Claude Puel coming in along with Saints record signing Sofiane Boufal. We discuss the cup run in the EFL Cup, the Europa League disappointment, beating Inter Milan, Arsenal and Liverpool, while failing to find momentum and capitalise on the progress of the past few seasons. Part 2 will be out in the next few days where you can join us for comments from listeners and the coveted Saints FC Podcast Awards. Twitter: @SaintsFCPodcast Email: saintsfcpodcast@gmail.com
  4. The Saints FC Podcast is lucky enough to speak to Saints legend and former England international David Armstrong. David is famous for playing as part of arguably one of the best Southampton sides ever including Mick Channon, Alan Ball and Kevin Keegan who came close to winning titles and trophies under Lawrie McMenemy. David tells us about being involved in one of the greatest Saints goals ever, playing over 350 consecutive games while at Middlesborough and how he adapted to life after football following an injury that left him disabled from his mid 30s. Following the interview with David, Tom and John discuss Saints recent form in the Premier League, the games against Chelsea, Manchester City and Hull City. We also discuss rumours about Claud Puel and whether he will be eased out of the club in the summer. You can listen at http://saintsfcpod.libsyn.com/ Let us know your thoughts! Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Hello All, I may be fortunate enough to have the opportunity to interview Reuben Agboola in the near future. I am a little too young to remember his Saints playing days, i was only a few months old when he was sold to Sunderland. So...... are there any members on here that have fond memories of him they would like to share, or have me ask him about? http://images.supersport.com/content/Reuben-Agboola-Southampton-.jpg The interview will end up on a future episode of the Saints FC Podcast: http://saintsfcpod.libsyn.com/

  11. Planning one every 2/3 weeks until the end of the season, then see how it's going, how much time it takes, how many people are listening etc. With a view to choosing a regular schedule for next season. All/any feedback, reviews, promotion would be very much appreciated!
  12. Hi Everyone, I have created a new podcast about the Saints. We have two episodes up now, both of them can be found at: http://saintsfcpod.libsyn.com/ We are also on iTunes, Stitcher, Pocketcast, TuneIn if you use a podcasting app already, just search 'Saints FC Podcast'. If there's a podcasting app you use and you can't find it there let me know and I will try to get it uploaded there as well. Episode 1: We talk to Neil Maddison & Jason Dodd about life at Saints, have some great anecdotes from the Saints legends including when Neil Maddison had his Saints shirt on underneath his Middlesborough one playing against Portsmouth at Fratton Park. Episode 2: We speak to cult legend Brett Ormerod about his time at the Saints, from the glory of reaching the FA Cup final in 2003 to being relegated with Harry Redknapp and the bizarre circus of the last years of Rupert Lowe's tenure as Saints chairman. It would be great to get your feedback! We are keen to improve the podcast, listen to your ideas, and of course any suggestions for ex-Saints legends you would like us to speak to and why! Also, please share among your Saints supporting friends and family!!!
  13. Got one today - lots left by the looks of things
  14. I'm going on the train so will probably head for the Norfolk Arms and get the bus from there. I got a ticket with no problem this afternoon so it's very doubtful that its sold out! Think it just goes up by a quid or two if you buy them on the door. COYS!
  15. I love you! That number is brilliant! 2nd attempt and two tickets bought!!!!! Was gonna get my bro a ticket too but just discovered he's not actually on the system!!!! Unlucky for him - maybe serves him right for making my dad buy all his tickets in the past!!! Ah happy days, lets do those Skates! COME ON YOU REDS!!!!!

  19. Lallana's goal was amazing! There should be a separate thread for it's appreciation.
  20. Maybe some of us could meet up at Waterloo and get a group saver - the only thing is you're supposed to travel together - could be an arse on the return journey?
  21. Maybe someone should start talking to AFC Wimbledon and Man Utd AFC to see how they set up their clubs?
  22. What was that about? Just caught the last couple of seconds!!! Making cheese on toast!
  23. Wow! A fair few negative comments from Southampton fans emailed into SSN. Let's show some enthusiasm for it!!!
  24. Yes yes yes! after unfortunately missing the last two home games, due to the bane of work, I am heading down for this one! Woop! Woop!
  25. From that website posted earlier: Norwich City Official response: "20,000 season tickets sold, which is a capped total. 19,714 sold last season." How did they manage that?!?!? 20,000 season tickets sold in the championship, that's amazing!
