The Aribo centre-back and playing 3 right backs at once experiment means he deserved his fate. In saying that though , I’ll be happy to see the Frasers, Stephens, Armstrongs, Downes, Mccarthys of this world never play for Saints again. Gutless clowns.

Am I right in thinking Stephen’s contract expires this year ? If ever there was a player synonymous with our fall from grace over the years , it’s captain Jack.

They did struggle though. We scraped promotion through the playoffs and the expectation was automatic promotion. Conceded 63 goals and our defending is just as bad this season . I don’t see the point in hoping that they will be good enough next season, after the last two abysmal premier league campaigns, I’m all for a huge clear out.
