  1. Dream on.Even so, I have always rated him but after the last couple of weeks I am now much less sure. Even less convinced by Zola.
  2. Agreed. The ill-informed comments above are unjustified.
  3. Sounds a bit Nazi
  4. I think that the point being made is that there may well be players we have tried/ are trying to get but clubs are asking more than we are willing to pay - hence the comment about not throwing money about and hence the lack of transfer action. Antonio is an example of this. We want him, we have valued him at a certain price, Reading want more, no deal, therefore no player.
  5. That is not luck - that is a skill in its own right.
  6. Not sure about the pace but I think I agree with the general sentiment.
  7. He was in the first half but I thought he was much better in the second half. Words at half time?
  8. You must be the complete cynic. I saw Lallana do nothing yesterday than he doesn't do most other games. He is a premiership class player and it shows whenever he plays. Bugger all to do with impressing Bolton. And if you thought that Bolton were cruising last night you obviously weren't at St Marys. If you were you must have been reading the Sun's advanced report which clearly was not based on watching the match. ("Bolton got a deserved lead"!!!!!!!!!!)
  9. Starting with better players in the first place.
  10. I think that we are missing Antonio and Waigo. When things were going like this a year ago one or other or both of them were brought on and it seemed to break the deadlock. Only because they brought something different to the table.
  11. Agree
  12. I agree -Puncheon is clearly hate figure of the month. Yes - he did deliver a couple of duff dead balls but he gave their left back a torrid time for much of the game. He was even better in central midfield - which I can't help feeling may be his better position.
  13. It would come under the category of "Gamble". I'm not sure that Cortese is a gambler (even though he is a banker)
  14. Can happen in a training game - you can't determine your approach to things on what MIGHT happen - you achieve nothing that way. Addendum - sorry I seem to have double replied to you. I didn't really note who had posted this :-)
  15. There is no guarantee that if we lose tonight then we won't screw up at the week end. Our players look to me like they still need games. Go for the win and let the weekend take care of itself.
  16. Could you explain what was lucky about the draw. From where I stood it was Orient who were lucky to get the draw but what do I know compared with all the "Sack Pardew" gurus who have already rushed to post.
  17. Is it worth talking to the RSPCA? Even if they cannot have them temporarily they may know of organisations (or maybe just individuals) who can. Is there a dog equivalent of the Cats Protection League? They may also be worth contacting
  18. Couldn't agree more.
  19. I think it would be much better if, on threads like this, posters simply ignore the WUMs.
  20. Twoo
  21. Hypnotist
  22. To be honest, the future of the club is the last thing that I am concerned about. I am quite prepared to take the initial statement at face value. I can see no reason not to - unless you are some kind of conspiracy theorist.
  23. Too sad for words. My deepest condolences to his family. Thank you for everything.
