  1. They won't attract many purchasers playing like they are at the moment. If they want to go - let them. If they haven't the fight to keep us in the Premiership then they won't have the fight to get us out of the Championship
  2. I think that his best position might turn out to be defensive midfielder. He is good enough on the ball.
  3. No - he's Burnleys's Keeper
  4. He's quite fond of burbling inconsequential rubbish.
  5. How can you pass judgement, one way or the other, on a striker who has no support and no real supply of decent passes?
  6. On Solent Merrington kept highlighting that when he got the ball he kept looking for an out but he had no runners so ended up with a sideways pass. PEH is not the problem. It was the failure of other people not making the runs and he was getting frustrated.
  7. Is it conceivable that West Ham could get a points deduction for that blatant breach of security (not enough stewards or police). I ask, not because of any benefit to us, but because I would not want to see any protests on our part go down the same road. Yes I want him out but I do not want to see any pitch invasions
  8. and Greed -Show of Hands
  9. If the ref, from his position, is not sure then he can't give it. It doesn't matter what Canadian TV showed.
  10. Now THAT might work!
  11. And your solution for keeping want-away players is...? Don't say force them to keep to their contracts - we've seen how well that works
  12. I very much doubt if he is new. Obviously an alias for one of our usual suspects but I cannot be arsed to work out which.
  13. He's merely pointing out that cheating and bad behaviour exists in all sports. He is not justifying it!
  14. This season's 20m striker was last year's 12m atriker - player price inflation because of the TV billions!
  15. If we had appointed Silva, would he have tried to jump ship to Everton like he tried to from Watford after a mere 9 games? I don't mourn our missing out on him that much.
  16. How in God's name did you arrive at that conclusion. He was one of our most effective attacking players
  17. Yes but we'll sell him to Liverpool next year for £100m
  18. As, I suspect, was WG's
  19. I think that you do him an injustice. Davis is his best player for NI but would not necessarily be so for us. As you imply, Davis is a bit out of form at the moment. For NI, O'Neill would have no option but to play him. That would not necessarily be the case for us.
  20. I can't believe that fans are so sniffy about the prospect of a Sturridge LOAN. Yes he is an injury risk but any signing we make could suffer a bad injury within a fortnight of signing. Go for it I say. Also Walcott has the pace that so many crave.
  21. Perhaps - but who else was available who was willing to come? The decision to sack Puell is coming back to bite us in the arse big time. We did not score many but we sure as hell did not concede many either. Sack Pelligrino by all means but who else do we bring in that is a) available and b) better.
  22. There's no evidence to support anything that was said about him.
