Where have all the Happy-Clappies gone?
St_Tel49 replied to Channon's Sideburns's topic in The Saints
Of course it is. -
Saints couldn't afford Pearson - it all sounds very familiar..

The problem is that you don't KNOW what the outcome of Admin would be so how can you be such an enthusiatic advocate? IMHO admin could easily result in the wholesale destruction of the club. Bournemouth's future looks very dodgy to me! -
You have to look at the alternatives and ask if any of them are likely to be better

Gold Cup - Madison de Berlais. I don't believe that Denman ran as badly in the King George as was alleged. Other than that Dave's Dream, Big Eared Fran and Zaynar.
-
More to the point someone (Svennson?) appears to be working on the defensive side of his game. He was always good going forward. To be fair, Bridge did not stand out as that wonderful a full back when he started out as a youngster.

Attaboy ;-)
-
And I think that that is the simple fact. There is one heck of a lot of wild speculation going on in this thread.
-
So was Blayney's - absolutely unbelievable - certainly Shearer could not believe it, but Anti's and KD's were produced within a series of good performances while Blayney's was a one off.

Can't say that I saw anyone saying that. Merely that there are finally some grounds for optimism. We will only be safe when mathematically we cannot be relagated. There is a long way to go yet.
-
Strangely I had just assigned your comments to the same reason ;-)

Mark Dennis on Radio Hampshire was hinting that Svennson is having a significant impact and that he and Wotte are working well together. There is no doubt that our defence has improved but whether it is Wotte or Svennson or both isn't at all clear.
-
I think you have misinterpreted what I said in which case I apologise for my lack of clarity. I actually agree with you.

As you say UP it is all about opinions, but I think that you are being harsh on him. The strong positives as far as I am concerned is a) that the ball always seems to come to him - a sign of a player who intuitively knows where to be b) he always seems to have time on the ball even under pressure - to me a sign of a player with good technical ability. Oakley had it. I think he is underrated in this regard c) he is a battler Weakness - still prone to loose passes. Nevertheless in the last two games I felt was at least a challenger for MoM.
-
To be fair JFP two losses did not make him a bad manager neither does two wins make him brilliant. However the manner of those wins is very encouraging. It might be better to focus less on point-scoring on this board and concentrate on supporting the team to do its points-scoring on the park.

The first penalty was nailed on. The ball hit his arm which was raised. The linesman had no hesitation in flagging it. Actually I thought the officials had a decent game today - and I am not saying that because we won. I thought that it was first class game of football and definitely a better result than last week. Cardiff looked like a team challenging for promotion and dominated longish phases of the play. I was impressed with how we coped with it. Every one of our players battled their hearts out and it seems unfair to single any player out. They all looked up for it and did what they had to do.

Nah - tea's always c**p on Saturday -and expensive ;-)

Along comes the first one to drag the thread down.

Oh look - another anti Lowe post by Stanley. Must be at least 30 seconds since the last one.
-
Can't you get it into your head that admin will be highly damaging and is no more likely to get rid of Lowe than any other course of action. Enough other posters have put up scenarios where he could actually be stronger.
-
Didn't they fancy you then? ;-)

Mary Corbett felt "threatened" and "physically intimidated" by Lowe

I seem to recollect that most posters on here were not mad on the deal either -

Are you therefore suggesting that anyone should post anything they like about Lowe whether it is true, false or merely innuendo? -
A quite beautiful summary Chez.
-
Yes its pedantic - you are reading far to much into it

Did you read the entire article
