Red Bull would never take over a club without renaming it. The Premier League/FA would never allow the club to be renamed. (See Hull City Tigers saga). End of argument.

Whoosh

Exactly why leave won - a majority of people thought the economic risk (even if they believed all the Projects Fear) was worth it.
-
Finally someone gets it. People in general care more about cultural security than economic security.
-
Spot on.

H We never ever had a vote to join the EU or any of its previous versions. It was a vote to LEAVE. We were already in. That was decided for us by politicians and the Civil Service, because as ever, they ‘know best’. Except they don’t.

Like Gavin. LOL

Sounded like it to me - give all the big decisions to the ‘clever’ people.
-
So, just as all the people who voted to leave the EU are thick, those people who voted for the Conservatives at this election are also thick. Of course - it’s all clear to me now. Obviously the way to cure these aberrations is to ditch democracy.

Refuse to accept Jeremy’s resignation of course. Actually I think that’s what will happen - and he ain’t going anywhere.

Obviously 17.4 million are all on the same level as her.

Not because he’s fat, it’s because he’s an easy target. It’s like something from Lord of the Flies on here. Christ knows what it’ll be like on Friday, I expect several of you will have tipped over the edge by then.
-
Do you lot realise how you’re sounding? Like a load of hysterical playground bullies rounding on the fat kid. Grow up FfS.
-
Nope.
-
You know, I know, the Tories, Labour, and Lib Dems know, that for any party to actually do that would mean electoral suicide for a generation. So it ain’t gonna happen.
-
I’ve heard that one at every General Election in the last 40 years.
-
It’s also moved on since the 70’s, which Corbyn et al seems to have missed.

A Theresa May slogan which turned out to not be the case. Which is entirely the point Wes was making.

It’ll be worse when Corbyn turns us into Venezuela Mk2. But, of course, it’ll be fine because we’ll all be in it together.

Ah, that would be the completely impartial Electoral Commission who arbritarily fined that poor kid Darren Grimes £20,000 for overspending on the Leave Campaign. It took him years to have that overturned and was eventually completely exonerated in court. The Electoral Commission, I would suggest, is so biased that it doesn't look too hard for wrongdoing on one side of the political spectrum.
