  1. Russ just said Che and Ross are both back.
  2. Joined the forum on Monday 🤔
  3. Che also posted on Instagram, looks like he’s in full training: Press conference is at 1:30pm so hopefully Russell confirms he’s all good to go, although he does like to keep his cards close to his chest. Surely he wouldn’t post this if he wasn’t fit and ready to go? Wonder if we will find out about Ross Stewart too in the presser, not seen him in any of the pics or vids on socials. He needs to read the script, he’s supposed to score the winning goal on Sunday to make his transfer make sense!
  4. Is that PSVs kit for next season or the one just gone?
  5. Can I just say how tiring it is with the Leeds fans going on and on about our tickets on all socials. I know it’s banter in the main but I’m bored now. 3 years they’ve spent in the top flight in the last 20 years, even that doesn’t shake the entitlement it seems.
  6. Post lady just delivered my tickets, ordered on Monday.
  7. Do you think we can win this without them?
  8. This is how I got tickets for the EFL Cup final in 2017, because my 12 away games counted for nothing in the initial sales criteria. The extras allowed aways to count and seats were lower tier and a great view. I’m assuming this is what saints had left after all staff and players had taken what they wanted. Great for those that missed out but potentially some of the best seats if it works the same as the EFL Cup final, which might annoy some ST holders. Another 1.1k Saints fans cheering us on 😇
  9. Brighton links are perhaps a little lazy and do think they are currently of a standing that can attract a manager of higher calibre. However, they are very much a data driven club, his style would suit, he’s a local lad and if we were to not make it up on Sunday, would the PL and location be too tempting for Russ? McKenna being their first choice makes a lot of sense (he’s already being linked to bigger clubs), but if he doesn’t say yes, I don’t think Russ will be too far down their list. Personally, I think losing Russell this summer would only be a bad thing. So much change has taken place and he’s still got us to within 1 game of the PL. In the main it’s been a decent watch and I think it’s hard to argue that he’s not done a decent job. Yes, we didn’t get automatics and there are a couple of poor runs, defensively we’ve been conceding too many but the football has been sensational at times. If he can learn to be more pragmatic and flexible, he has the makings of a very exciting young manager that will undoubtedly manage a bigger club in the future. He’s a manager I really want to do well with us.
  10. Interestingly Kompany is on Bayern’s list according to Fabrizio: https://x.com/fabrizioromano/status/1792665372367393243?s=46&t=7raSKCMt6LV8RJ1C2d39WQ
  11. I agree that Saints being in our home shirt would have been preferable and don’t really understand how a sensible change of socks couldn’t have facilitated that. Really looking forward to following up Friday’s amazing atmosphere with this huge game. Should be a fantastic day and I just hope we can take that final step and win promotion on Sunday. Let’s bring the same energy and hope for the best in this 50/50 lottery. Up the Saints 😇
  12. Yes postal only and delivered by a specialist third party. Some task to send out 35.6k tickets but hopefully they arrive before the end of the week. I also had the timeout issue this morning during payment which annoyingly locked me out of buying any until 30 mins later when they rejected the purchase. Then I could go back in and try again. At this point I just bought the first seats I clicked on to just make sure I had tickets. I think the short timeframes have resulted in priority being a bit blurred. Seems unfair to open up blocks later on, that season ticket holders or members with strong purchase history this season should have had first refusal on. Overall I'm just happy to be going but do feel like the sales process could have been easier, more fair and less stressful!
  13. Che was at the ground last night and I asked him if he would be fit for the final, he nodded and gave me a thumbs up. So Martin looks to be telling the truth this time thankfully.
  14. It’s a good omen though, think our results post light shows aren’t too great.
  15. No light show tomorrow before the game.
  16. That Cardiff game was absolutely ridiculous. Enough chances to win the game multiple times over. Praying we are more clinical than that tomorrow!
  17. It is time to deliver on the expectations. We are the better side, the game is massive and we should be right up for it. None of this passive ‘autos are gone’ going through the motions. As you say, play to our potential and the result will be a good one. Is it 1 defeat in our last 11 against WBA? Russ hasn’t lost against them or Corberan as a manager. We finished 12 points above them and did the league double over them. Expectation is justified, hope we thrive under the pressure for a change. Their away form ranks them as 14th in the league. If we score first I think we will force them to open up and we can take advantage, need to start fast.
  18. I parked at College Street car park for the Watford game and that worked well.
  19. Second Tier Podcast predicting a WBA win in 90 mins. Par for the course really as they have been consistent in not favouring Saints on our big games and have a hard-on for Corberan.
  20. You’d hope the pressure of the occasion wouldn’t be influenced negatively by strong support. I’d expect the bigger impact might be on the WBA team.
  21. Postman just delivered my tickets, what a guy.
  22. Just called the ticket office and they advised that all tickets were sent out by yesterday, should arrive by Thursday. If not it’s a reprint and collect at the ticket office on Friday plan B.
  23. Ordered my tickets last Tuesday. There wasn’t an e-ticket option, only post. Not received my tickets yet. Anyone else still waiting? Not sure why e-tickets weren’t used like normal home games.
  24. I thought we actually edged it on decent chances: KWP pulling his shot wide, Downes chance that fell to Armstrong that went just wide and Ross Stewart’s deflection WBA had Diangana header and the cut back that was straight at McCarthy. XG was 0.80 - 1.07. That reaction save to the deflection from Stewart’s shot was easily the save of the game for me. Overall, 0-0 is a decent result. In our hands at home on Friday. Can’t wait.
  25. Well I’m feeling a tad nervous this morning. Come on you Saints! 😇🙏
