They were indeed, and they are probably superior to what other stadiums have, but I was never aware of the previous ones flickering during TV coverage. Last season during the Under 21 final sat at the back of the stand, they were pretty distracting!

I was just referring to the additional lights that they installed last year that I considered to be slightly unnecessary. As you say, lights are quite useful for a night game!
