  1. Ince has looked a much bigger threat in the games i've seen. Much of a muchness maybe.
  2. Gerrard would have been sent off for that in the finals
  3. A friend once suggested taking one player away from each team every five minutes until the first goal was scored. Thought that would be entertaining.
  4. Had Walk of Life for coming back down the aisle. First dance was a ceilidh so no idea what the song was
  5. I always Cuellar was a pretty good player too. Not been first choice on the team sheet recently but was great in 2010 season.
  6. I agree would be nice to know. I also hope they re-introduce memberships or another affiliation type programme, so those that can't get to every game or afford a season ticket still have a way of maintaining a link and a foot in the door.
  7. Philips (matt) should scored. Twice
  8. Absolutely. He really is quality and surely the worst of his injuries must be behind him. Cue Youtube montage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONxP49ZJr0U
  9. I went for four days in Nepal a few years ago and that was up to grade 3. Great fun! Very much doubt the River Lyn is 5-6 though as that is pretty much certain death rapids. Cant imagine there will be much in the UK above grade 3. When i first moved down here I joined the New Forest Canoe and Kayak club who were really helpful and have cheap kit to hire for about £10 per day all in. Sure someone there would be happy to give advice.
  10. Nice to see Marlon Pack - PFA team of the year member and 3rd in League Two player of the year poll - score an absolute wonder goal for Cheltenham last night. Could be on his way back to Fratton next season along with other ex skates. How I bet they wish they hadn't thrown out these great youth prospects now.
  11. You can guarantee whoever we sign will be a useless lump in the eyes of many
  12. I think Lambert is a more likely target as he now has PL experience behind him, as has Brendan Rogers.Well that's what i'm hoping.
  13. All but one were loans, and the other played a major contribution in our promotion to the Championship. Not too bad considering, all the other successes.
  14. Probably being replaced anyway over the summer. They seem to like doing that.
  15. Leroy Rosenior thinks he's been a revelation and Reading will want him back. Definitely could have done a job for us
  16. Well we shouldn't be too worried about having to play teams like Liverpool next year. They really are a cautionary tale for reckless spending on useless players
  17. Agree. Look at people like Tom Cleverly and Henri Lansbury who are only just coming through now at their respective clubs at age 22. Realistically it could be 5 years before Ward-prowse, shaw, sinclair etc are first team ready, but that does not mean they aren't great prospects. Our rapid rise to the premisership may mean our youngsters have to wait a little longer and maybe get lower league expeiience out on loan rather than in our first team, which to be honest i'm pretty happy about. Also I suppose we shouldn't forget that reserve football should be a lot more competitive next year hopefully allowing some players to progress that little bit quicker. In summary i'm not concerned about our lack of first team youngsters. They are exactly that 'youngsters' and need time to progress.
  18. Just for comparison what were prices this year? Those estimates seem quite a lot with £600 being over £30 a game.
  19. If he can become more consistent he can play a big part next season. The goal compilation showed how well he started the season.
  20. First goal of the season was the best of the season for me. Shows what great football we've played at times this year.
  21. A colleague of mine is into Speedway do Poole are her summer sport. Guess this year it'll be the Euro's and the olympics, but those summers without a big event really drag from a sport perspective. Especially since cricket went to sky.
  22. I loved Strachan's comment about he had grandchildren older than half the Cov team.
  23. As much as I hate to say it, I want Blackpool to go up. If not them then Cardiff.
  24. If this game is not 0-0 at half time i'll be surprised. Expecting to be put through the wringer but come out ok at the end. That being said wouldn't it be great it Cranie conceded a penalty in the first minute. Certainly settle my nerves.
  25. This a million times. I like Mikey won't vote lib dems again while the current crop are still lurking around. Will be voting labour for the first time in my life this May.
