I think the motivation point is really important. If you have somewhere you go on holiday more often, or friends in a certain country i'd go for that language. On those days when you are finding it tough and ask yourself why you are doing this it would be great to have a reason to call upon. Also its not easy to do but try and speak the language as often as you can rather than just reading or writing. Even if its just to yourself out loud.

Just ignore all the WUMs. You are accused of speeding at 11am when you were not speeding. I'd just write back and say at that time my car was sitting on my drive and had not been driven at all that day.

Touch wood i've never had my home burgled, but i did have an attempted car knicking a couple of years ago. They were obviously just out for a bit of fun, as they didn't take anything but just wrecked all the console and electrics in an attempt to get it started. It was a bit of a ****ty old car so they probably thought it would be easy to knick but it actually had an immoboiliser. It wrote the car off in the end so it was really annoying as I got bugger all from insurance for what was an old but very reliable car.

Not the England I see i'm afraid. Amidst the hysteria of recession, life has continued as normal for the vast majority of the population in the comfort of the labour years. Any anxiety is just as likely a result of the frenzy whippped up by our sensationalist media. The one area where we are failing is housing. There needs to be a huge increase in the housing supply bringing the down the average prices of homes. Life aint all that bad in blighty.

I'd say a hosted option would be the least hassle. I've just bought extra storage on my google account and chuck everything up there although i've noticed the costs for new subscriptions has gone up quite a bit recently.

Well i'll join in too. I'm down for the GSR this year and my training had been going really well until about 3 weeks ago. I'd done everything by the book building up by about 10% a week at most. Unfortunately i've still managed to develop shin splints and have now had to take three weeks off but still have pain even when just doing the stairs. Unless it improves quickly think i'll have to give it a miss and just take to the bike for some exercise. I'm going to enter a half marathon in the spring so might just aim for that now and if that goes injury free i'll try a marathon next autumn.
