Have they been dazzled by our Total football yet?

I just cant wait till 3pm. All the pre-season chat both good and bad goes out the window and we really get to see what our new look set up is capable of. A lot will fall on the shoulders of the experienced players today to ensure our younger lads dont let the occasion get to them. If the line-up is as we expect we have four debutants. James, Spiderman, Thomson & Holmes. COYR

Celtic & Rangers would be real competitors in the PL. Imagine sides getting their level of gate receipts and then add on the tv money. They would become big players very quickly.

Agree. It seems no journalist has actually looked into our predicament at all. Our financial situation is no worse than half a dozen other clubs its just our board are doing something about it and being suprisingly honest. On top of this we are actually been playing well in pre-season. No five goal losses etc like others in this league have suffered. Dont get me wrong i'm not expecting miracles, but it is really starting to annoy me how poor the reporting of what's going on at our club is.

We all know where we are financially and the need to trim wages. Hopefully this will get him some exposure so a larger fee will be forthcoming in January. Same with Rasiak as far as i'm concerned. I still think John should be the first choice lone striker and I hope we see this happen after the Cardiff game as he did well for us last season. Obviously if McG does well on Saturday I may have to change my mind.

Wow we may have five fit centre backs. After last season when struggled for one, this is just a luxury. No full backs though so I guess it evens itself out.

That actually is of great interest as have wondered about that today. Would be good to keep that part of the site up to date though. Cant wait to see Davies & Killer side by side in the centre of our defence.

Yeah actually KD would be most missed out of those mentioned although everyone said Bart did quite well the other night. It's another thing to rely on him to perform week in week out though I suppose.

I would like to see Rasiak, Saga, BWP, Euell & Thomas leave. Bring in two versatile defenders who can play accross the back. Then we are sorted for the season ahead IMO, considering our financial situation.

I dont quite see the relevance of the 'he was one and a half times the drink drive limit' bit. He wasn't driving so what does that matter. For some reason they seem to want to dirty his character. Tragic accident IMO. We've all tried stupid eating based dare games.

How we defend set pieces will make or break our season. We may be a bit light weight. Positive we wont be down in a relegation fight this year though.

My employer used to block TSF. Is it likely I will be able to get saintsweb when I arrive at work tomorrow? I find it very difficult to only get my saints fix after work or on the weekends.
