  1. Bart would be one of the best keepers in this league if he was starting so no worries from me. Obviously would rather KD wasn't injured but that's football. Forecast or Pernecky on the bench now?
  2. Full time 1 all, so extra time and penalties. Come on Ireland!
  3. The captains armband may not be Kelvin's anymore, but he'll still lead from the back. He's a true pro and always gives 100%. Made a great save second half.
  4. Somehow a £5 Vodafone Pay as you talk voucher was given to me with my receipt at tesco today. Not 100% sure if it will work but as i'm not on Vodafone and dont really know anyone on it it's no use to me. The PIN is 589934695686 if anyone can make use of it.
  5. I think brown is sometimes guilty of caring a bit too much and often getting overly involved. The woman wasn't happy but in most peoples opinion he had done enough. Making the phonecall to her was always only going to lead to this story running for longer as whatever he said they would have found something to pull him up on.
  6. If all woman's football was like this it would get much bigger audiences. I particularly loved the hair pulling.
  7. Just wanting a bit of advice. My Laptop has really developed a mind of its own now and is very old anyway. Saw the TV advert for the Laptop shown on the link below and thought it may be a good replacement. I only really use the laptop for internet, watching online feeds, word processing etc so I dont think I need it to be very powerful. http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/product/597929/TOSHIBA-L350D-213?cm_re=homepage-_-tab1-_-597929 I can get this for £350 through a cashback website so is that any good? My other plan was to just wait until after xmas and see if there are any good sales. Cheers
  8. Antonios was pretty good too. Hope we've agreed an option to buy at an agreed price, otherwise his value is going to rocket if he keeps playing like this. Great game!!!
  9. Good little video on the FA Cup website. Not so much a preview of the game as they say but makes good watching. http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/FACompetitions/TheFACup/NewsAndFeatures/2009/bristolrovers_southampton_041109.aspx
  10. It never ceases to amaze me how intelligent some people on this forum actually are, as they really do their best to hide this in everyday posts. I'm not a believer in anything really, but I really hate being labelled as an atheist. I'm not quite sure why, but I just doesn't sit well with me. Whenever on forms it asks for religious beliefs I always choose not to answer, rather than putting atheist. The thing that really put me off any kind of religion was the idea that a supreme being or body would want me to worship it and waste my time visiting a place especially to do this. God or whoever must be a bit insecure if he needs constant praise. I have no problem with anyone who does believe as they have every right to and I would never try to argue with them about it, but inside my belief is that they may be a little misguided. I appreciate that many religions promote good moral and ethical behaviour, but this can be encouraged without the need for the religious additions.
  11. My partner works at SGH and she is pretty great I agree. Do think that the NHS is far from perfect though and is in need of quite a bit of reform. They dont necessarily need more money just a little bit of common sense at times. My Dad is currently undergoing cancer treatment and after an operation was on a critical care ward where they have one nurse per patient. All well and good for a soundbite, but thats not really necessary and they spend most of the time chatting to each other. The problem is when you are moved to the general ward there is only one nurse and they cant cope with the workload. Just one example of where resources could be allocated a bit better, but agree the NHS does a good job in general and is something we should be proud of.
  12. Pretty sure all those clubs have grounds that can take more than 19,500
  13. I cant believe he's still only 38. Seems an age since he hung up his boots and he's done all sorts since then. Would welcome him back. Anyone know if Killer is still involved with the club at all? Been a bit out the loop.
  14. The guy on that video is very annoying. His shirt is also terrible. All that is wrong with Disney.
  15. Thanks for all the info. Will give one a try this weekend.
  16. Right, I am now in the Shirley area so most importantly I need to know where I can find the best curry house and Chinese takeaway. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Ta
  17. That sounds like a sensible aim. It seems most are agreed that out of the relegation zone by the end of the year will be a good showing. Dont forget 50 points is normally around the safety mark so we still have a long way to go before I stop worrying.
  18. Thats brightened up my day! Nice to know i've played my part.
  19. Also moving down to Southampton. Have been looking around the Shirley area as need to be closish to the general hospital. Have found a few flats to rent in Landguard Road. Anyone know if that is an alright area as i'm not that familiar with the area?
  20. No contest. I really cant believe some people are saying country! Saints winning the top league is a once in a millenium thing when i´m sure England will win the world cup again in my lifetime.
  21. Similarly I think these Virgin employees will be out of work pretty soon. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7687758.stm
  22. A little concerned about your comment on making money from it. Didn't think that was what this site was about. Hope you mean making money to cover costs and not profit.
  23. Orgasmi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  24. I would rather be bombarded and not pay. Cant see how that cost can be justified. Would rather pay a fixed fee like the £5 for using the site.
  25. No thanks! Surely Jan must realise we need defenders after this horror show and i'd have anyone over Billy Davies if he was to go.
