  1. It's a Rugby region really. Even in Cheltenham they struggle to get much over 3,0000 for home games despite a population of around 100,000.
  2. Agree with the comment about all too similar up front. Needed an Andy Carrol type player to give an extra dimension.
  3. I had an exam in the Channon Suite last week and there was a picture of Ostlund punching the air on the wall in front of me. Kept me going for my three hours.
  4. Should be instant
  5. Wow there really are a lot of unfortunate people out there. My fiancee has very little interest in football, but has absolutely no problem when I go to games or watch in on the tv when its on. She'll fake a bit of interest at England but thats about it.
  6. I suppose if you are looking at the curent squad that includes Puncheon so there's your extra winger. Agree with you on the other three though. CB, CM and pacy striker.
  7. Thats a bit short sighted. Where do you think a large amount of the innovative ideas, technological advances and scientific breakthroughs that create wealth in this country come from. Research in the state funded higher education sector and in our many state funded research laboratories etc. It annoys me when people make such a distinction between public and private sector as in reality the line is far from black and white, with most industries having a large degree of overlap. Contrary to many people's belief public sector jobs are now under more scrutiny than ever before (not complaining but thats how it is) and my job in the private sector was far less stressful than where I am now.
  8. Quality. Well played Crab Lungs.
  9. I have a feeling we'll be seeing foreign signings and not early on. There should be no doubt that we'll add a few new faces and Nigel said we'd be adding quality so no reason not to believe him just yet.
  10. Did he run unapposed such as Blatter. This Al Qaeda just doesn't do democracy.
  11. Away to Middlesborough as i'm out the country. Obviously a win for the Saints though. 1-2
  12. I think you'll find they're all loaded and can easily afford the wage cut: http://www.mysalary.co.uk/average-salary/Bin_Man_4360
  13. Burnley supporters seem to rate him from the comments on this article. http://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/football/burnley/news/9062332.Burnley_not_out_of_race_for_Chelsea_midfielder_Cork/
  14. Exactly so if we signed him it may appease some on the people who are upset over season ticket prices. If we do not make any big signings on the other hand they may feel their criticism is justified.
  15. Good point. Hadn't considered the Brendan Rogers link
  16. Would be a real foundation for the future. With experience up front and in defence you could probably afford this type of Midfield. That being said those guys are young but apart from oxo you wouldn't call them inexperienced.
  17. He's bought Chaplow who despite a couple of blips has been a good signing and Forte, who despite not looking awesome possibly saved our automatic promotion push. Think its a bit harsh to say he's been very very poor.
  18. Not a lot i think is the answer there, but if - and its a big if - he can provide any sort of evidence then its a different story. Guess it needs to be seen how legitamate these emails are.
  19. But I assume the Liebherr family who inherited Mali, from Markus are involved in the Liebherr company that markus gave up his shares in?
  20. Carrick and Giggs versus Iniesta and Xavi - no contest
  21. Gulls, Trotters and Swans please. It's weekends like this when its great to be a sportsfan.
  22. I flew Air India in 2009 and have to say it was brilliant. 1 hour flight and they even had an edited movie to fit in the flight time. Great food as well. That would indicate to me that in fact the prices they charge do not cover what must be quite high costs associated with the good service.
  23. England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland France Italy Belgium Spain Portugal Switzerland Germany Holland Czech Republic Greece Hong Kong Nepal India Thailand Singapore Australia New Zealand Cook Islands Chile Argentina Uruguay Peru Brazil Austria USA Canada
  24. Had my last one for four years (but had it repaaired twice) and now had the new one for a little over 18 months. Starting to notice it getting slower and the click pad sticks on occasions. Dont think it'll be four years this time, but paid half the price of the first one. Can get a laptop that does everything I need for around £400.
