  1. In Scotland (The only place i've bought a house), offers are made through a solicitor and once accepted are legally binding on both parties. Obviously negotiation can take place if something horrendous is found out about the property. Should be the same in England.
  2. Exactly. Saving ourselves for the demolition of a demoralised Hull on Tuesday!
  3. Was the Noone one not for when he took out Schneiderlin's knee. Whoever it was it looked very nasty from where I was sat and could have been a red on another day.
  4. Retailers should be forced to have a mechanism to recycle everything they sell, so when your tv breaks after five years you take in back to the retailer you bought it from to ditch it. Would stop them putting so much unnecessary packaging on stuff as well if they had to deal with the leftovers. There is only so much consumers can do, as the facilities for recycling many things just dont exist.
  5. Judging by the De Ridder and Guly signings I wouldn't be surprised if we looked abroad.
  6. I remeber the good old days when registered users couldn't start threads.
  7. I didn't think tonight was that nervey at all. Not like they were flying in with wave after wave of attacks and last ditch defending etc. Felt pretty comfortable throughout despite their goal.
  8. Yes of course. People change and as long as he didn't unsettle the good spirit we have i'd have him back in the mix.
  9. When you watch the match highlights Hammond also made some great passes. The chip out to butterfield for Guly's first and the chip through to lambert for his volley at the end. Great performances all over the pitch.
  10. Completely agree about Fonte. The break seems to have done him the world of good and he was in complete control today. Jos and him are developing into a formidable defensive duo. Chaplow was so good today and that corner where he stole the ball and ran the whole pitch got tackled but then won the ball back again deserved a goal.

  12. My contract states 35 hours per week so that is what I work. Once you get high enough up the pay scale you have no fixed hours so if i was at that pay point I may be more inclined to work longer.
  13. Apparently he wants to stay. In dutch but I think that's the general gist of it. http://www.seginternational.com/football/page=site.news_article/id=976/matchwinner_hooiveld_hoopt_bij_de_saints_te_blijven.html
  14. Now dont get carried away. Could make it harder for Cork to get back in the team though. I also agree with the point about us being too narrow though at times. When you are reliant on your full backs for width counter attacking is less effective as it takes them so much longer to break, forcing ricky or connolly wide leaving little threat in the middle.
  15. Completely agree. If Barny was fit he'd have been on after 60 minutes for connolly, who was just getting pushed off the ball.
  16. I think that's a pretty harsh assessment as he was superb towards the end of last season. Part of me would feel more comfortable if he was partnering Fonte. Our defence hasn't exactly been solid this year.
  17. We are very short on numbers at the moment with the injuries we have so I think an extra passenger on the bus is needed even if the others are back fit. If either Jos or Fonte gets injured we'd have to have a youth teamer on the bench.
  18. Man united only won 5 away games all last season and won the league by 9 points. Have to be happy with points away at good sides.
  19. 7 minutes...........
  20. Yes and we could win or draw
  21. Picked it up on the radio
  22. Southampton's goal macnine
  23. To answer my own question and for anyone else interested there will be, but they'll be £3 more at £31 for an adult.
  24. Will there be tickets on the day?
  25. Just seen on BBC that SC is one of three candidates being interviewed at Notts Forrest along with Mark Robins and Kevin MacDonald.
