  1. I've seen him play three times this season at Cheltenham and he was absolutely brilliant. Couldn't believe the guy was only 18 as had such a presence and dominated his area. I would be very surprised if top half premiership clubs aren't interested.
  2. Why dont you look to get a place somewhere in between London and soton. I know quite a few people around basingstoke way where they have a shorter/cheaper commute and its only 30 minutes down to soton.
  3. As others have said don't want to see them go entirely, but lets hope this now brings about the 10 point deduction that they surely deserve. Very strong words from HMRC though, so obviously very peed off after last time. "Any business that regards paying tax as an optional extra after other expenses are met, or that uses tax collected from employees or customers as working capital, is potentially heading for trouble. "It is only fair to those clubs and to other taxpayers who do meet their obligations that HMRC enforces payment of tax debts owed - and if need be, issues a winding up petition or seeks to appoint an administrator. "There is little HMRC can do for a business - be it a football club or not - whose viability is dependent either on not paying the UK taxes to which they are liable, or on special treatment not available to other customers with similar tax affairs."
  4. In case anyone is also looking, i just bought one of these and it is fantastic. Apart from a slightly poor camera it gets top marks from me for everything.
  5. If we give away possession so easily to teams with pace then we'll be in trouble (or do get in trouble). When we retain the ball well like we did earlier in the season then the pace of the opposition becomes less of an issue. Just need to pass it better and quicker.
  6. It's funny how the sensationalist threads get the most posts as happy clappy's and doom mongerers battle it out. However, you have hit the nail on the head. You cant go out buy five players and then have everyone back fit in a months time and have those five players now not even making the bench. I suppose situations like this are what emergency loans are for, but no team will continue to play as well with their best players out injured/suspended.
  7. I suppose non-payment would put them in the poop this time then, would it?
  8. Do you have kids. Maybe they drive you to it!
  9. Went in the apple store today and they said the whole process is currently taking about six weeks. Still waiting for my packaging to send it back.
  10. Well there's nothing on telly so you chose a good night. Best of luck.
  11. Seeing as we only gave barnard a new contract at the end of last season i'd be surprised. Agree about the others though unfortunately and really should be operating on a one in one out style policy.
  12. Just seen the highlights and anyone who says their gran could have scored those etc is a moron. Two great headers. Some peoples opinions of Guly have echoes of the season Rasiak scored 20 but some people still insisted he was useless. Glad Nigel is sticking with him. There are players in the premiership who do nowt all game but poach the odd goal that are seen as 20 million players for god sake. If his bad games are not getting invloved but scoring twice, well i'll be happy with that all day long. Cant wait till he starts playing "well" again.
  13. For the Hull game I parked there no problem. Maybe its just 3 O'Clock games.
  14. We are ok in goal, rb, lb, cb (If Jaidi and Seabourne return to fitness in New year) and cm. Leaving a new right mid, centre forward and left midfield for january.
  15. Exactly. Most of us would have thought being in the playoff places at this time of the season would have been a great result. Yes, I want us to play our best every week but I am still happier as a saints fan today than at any time since 2003.
  16. I think they'll just throw you out not move you, so i'd keep quiet.
  17. I see where you're coming from, but Bart has been fine when coming in cold for cup games for the last two seasons and has played well. In fact in the balackpool game last season I remember a few superb saves. We know Bart has talent and he's played big games (Man U in cup for example) before so i'm just completely confused by that performance.
  18. Lambert is our best and most important player.
  19. Well I hope Kelvin is fit then if not Bart needs to man up. Long term we need another solid keeper, so my vote is Jack Butland from Birmingham.
  20. And I have thoroughly enjoyed it, so thanks to all at SFC. Hard work ahead but you've got my full support.
  21. I sort of agree. If anyone can get his confidence back for him it should be Adkins. A goalkeeper and psychologist. Here's hoping.
  22. Agreed. Both our keepers have played in the Premier League before I believe and you can't say that about many of our other players.
  23. Positive mental attitude. Good to see the players aren't fazed.
  24. We have 15 days to improve our away form!
