Finally! My obligatory year of birth page post. :D :D :D

Maybe I'm immature, but I can't read any further than this before having to stop and have a little chuckle...

Is it worthwhile to rig a vote where neither of he options make them look (any more) stupid? I might vote for option C in the home of the potential to opt for something ridiculous when the phew are consulted.

This is a stupid argument (the article, not you) which I find it amazing that nobody from the No camp has shut down. The "Assets" of Scotland and the UK are not just the £. The debt has been incurred to build roads, hospitals schools etc. These are also assets of the UK. If Salmond doesn't intend for an independent Scotland to use any of the existing infrastructure in the country, or alternatively if he wants to lease these assets from the rest of the UK then fine he can avoid the debt, if not then claiming that none of the debt will be Scotland's to pay is just silly.

Having not met either of these two myself I can't be sure. However from what little I have seen of them on TV both of these two are in fact complete dicks.

Have to agree with Marsdinho. I have never met a WHam fan that hasn't been a D1ck. Varying degrees of d1ck-ness but they have all, without exception, been d1cks

Why is everybody assuming that his friends have left him to rot? Just because they weren't there when a photo was taken it doesn't mean that they weren't/aren't trying to help him. They may have done but there is absolutely nothing that I have seen that shows that this is the case other than blind speculation.

Any surveyors on here ? New house issue
Clapham Saint replied to Smirking_Saint's topic in The Lounge
We bought our place in March. The sewer runs along the back of the house (just outside). Ours is virtually only house in the street not to have built an extension out over the top of the sewer and we intend to do the same as soon as we can afford to. We will need to move the man hole covers and will need to get agreement from Thames water (which we will have to pay a fee for) but it isn't an issue according to our: Surveyor Solicitor Architect Builder Thames water You should be fine Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -
The extra seats will be based in the new "5th stand" which will be on top of the glass roof above the pitch. It will be known as the "Community bestest stand" and will be a model for all other "fan owned" clubs in the world. Alternatively (to borrow from RB above)... The 250,000 seats requirement will be reduced to 98,750 in CVA 1 (39.5%) and then to 10,000 seats in CVA 2 (4%). Seems about right.

What would be the point of expanding the stadium like that? How much extra capacity would it create? - No where near enough to satisfy demand after they get promoted back to L1 when they'll just have to expand again. Best to get the buckets out again and expand to 250,000 seats now rather than put up with the disruption of doing it in stages.

Stuart Ripley?

Ah, sh**. Serves me right for being a smart arse.

So in summary... You no longer want to pay for Sky's services and so need advice on how best to steal them?
-
Nah, they're ok. Only up tight feminist lesbos get offended by that sort of thing. - obviously

Yes, the deputy majors and ticket offices being particularly poor shows. That said I don't quite follow the point that is being made by highlighting that many Boris bike users earn over £50k. Are they expected to get taxi's when they reach a certain earnings threshold?
-
Did he call you again afterwards?
-
D'oh! £609k
-
Ignoring the mismatch in the reporting periods for a second... If the original budget was "fully funded" and they are now £690k ahead of budget; why are they still asking local kids to give them all their pocket money to pay for the training ground?

You are actively asking Phil to tell one of his stories?!? Sweet Jebus! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Invoice from estate agent after changing to competitor.
Clapham Saint replied to Colinjb's topic in The Lounge
The agent that we used to sell was really good. The deal would definitely have fallen through without his work helping to organise the rest of the chain and other agents. IMO there are some genuinely good estate agents but 95% are just talentless gimps looking to take their percentage in exchange for putting an advert on right move. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

True in practice, however it is the seller who contracts them to help him find the best price for his house not just whatever price allows them to contractually take commission. And to think bankers have a bad name. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk -

Your Move were the agents for the house that we purchased. They were beyond sh**. Totally failed to understand their client's chain circumstances (when discussing with other agents in the chain) to the point that the chain very nearly fell through because of their complete ineptitude. Also discussed with me the fact that we were the only bidder and ways that we might get the seller to accept a lower offer. We would have paid more for the house had he not done this. -
will we see Suarez in our first match? (Answer: No.)
Clapham Saint replied to offix's topic in The Saints
A Liverpool fan in the office has just tried to claim that as LS clearly can't help himself when biting it is actually a mental disorder and accordingly the ban is discriminatory. If he were a fan of any other club I would assume this was tongue in cheek but given that he's scouse... -

It will depend upon what is in the contract that you signed with them. When we moved last year our estate agent's contract stipulated an exclusivity period but also required us to give a month's notice after that period before appointing anybody else. In the end we received a decent offer a week or so after giving them notice. How much are they asking you for? Is it in the region of Batman's £200 or £thousands, effectively wanting to charge fees on a sale they didn't make?
