You are right, it's your/their board and you can do what you like. I also agree that a google search doesn't take long - however, I have a mental picture of you going through a full list of forum members and googling each in turn - which would be a bit odd. You said that camdijk was found with a quick google search. The implication being that you normally have to work much harder to find "us". As I said, you can do what you like but the zeal with which you collectively brandish your pitchforks continually raises my eyebrows.

You spend your time googling forum members' user names on the off chance that they might be scummers?
-
Exactly. I'd never say never but there is no reason why this guy (or anybody else) should be interested. I did notice that the PCFC board statement didn't actually reference the rumour at all, just said that they would update if they ever actually found any investment. Probably just the board having nowhere else to go for money putting out a rumour as a fishing (boom-tish) exercise.

Re the capital gains tax... Your costs when calculating the CGT are the cost of what you are currently selling. If you buy the land for (say) £300k and it costs another £300k to build the first house then when the first house is sold your profit is £800ksales price - £300k build cost - £150k cost of the land on which the first house was built = £350k. Now if you sold the house in December 2017 you wouldn't actually have to pay this tax for some time. It would be taxable in the tax year running from 6 April 2017 to 5 April 2018. You would need to complete a tax return and pay the tax by 31 January 2019. Hope that is of some help.

Football Manager 2017 - Release date & a 20% discount

Having not bought FM for a few years (fed up of paying full price each year for what was essentially a database update), I've just had a look at getting FM17 in the steam sale but the reviews are terrible (20/80% positive/negative). Is it really that bad? -

I can't imagine what you are thinking, but with only 220 seats or so available (when I looked), it wouldn't take a lot of effort... I hope nobody does whatever it is that you are thinking of. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How weakened is the skate team? I had a look at the line up but, other than having a chortle at their keeper being called Bass, it meant very little to me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Whilst it is obviously your decision, out of curiosity, why was the blanket scummer ban introduced? Where saints fans being ****s on the site? Horses for courses and all that but I don't think I've ever found another fans page which is so funny about letting other teams' supporters read the site (let alone post).

Have they opened POL to new members again yet? I tried to take a look (after the hilarity of some of the quotes copied to this site), a year or two ago but the site was locked from non-members and they didn't respond to new membership requests for fear of letting in a scummer. (Rightly in my case I guess)

A bit late for Corbyn to start trying to act like a decisive leader.

"It's good enough to challenge" Really?! Can't wait to see what happens when the bestest challenge falls just short again.

To be fair to the fishy phew - they are right about the keeper. WTF was e doing?

Again this needs to be considered in conjunction with the apparent £1.1m extra paid in advance for season tickets. There was a £489,000 net cash outflow from operating activities DESPITE season ticket holders paying £1.1m more in advanced season ticket sales before the end of June. Given that this increase won't be repeated; the underlying cash outflow from operating activities was £1.6m. Good job Iain
