We should have signed Wood years ago. He is a very basic player but does what we need desperately. And as others have said, Josh Sargent would be worth looking at

I think the perspective on the away fans depends a lot on where you are. Being next to them in the Chapel they were annoyingly loud throughout the game.

What was with the traffic in Southampton today? Came off the M3 and down the Avenue at 11,30 into total gridlock. Know that Pride was on, but that has happened before without the same effect.

If Armstrong and BBD get 15 goals between them it could be enough to keep us up
-
Fernandes feels a bit like when we brought Schneiderlin. Not quite what we needed at the time, but purchased for potential
-
There is the sad case of Richard Hall. Signed by West Ham from Saints but only played 7 games before retiring
-
Maitland-Niles has England caps. It's no longer a measure of quality

Going up or staying down, we were fated to have a difficult season this time round. But I prefer this flavour of difficult. It puts us off becoming Stoke for at least another year.

I thought the ref was quite restrained. He was really forced to show the cards he did and could have shown more to players on both sides. It might have been good though for him to call the managers together and tell them that this is supposed to be a friendly and if it carries on he will get his red card out.

away at Chelsea he scared their defence to death

Bournemouth and Fulham were yo-yo teams but have managed to stabilise

Give them the ticket office a call. I did on Tuesday. There seems to be a glitch where the system thinks people have opted not to get the email saying their ticket is ready. Within a minute of my call I had the ticket

What a decent season looks like for a poor PL team

we won 3 games away last time round. That should be doable again. 6 home wins and draws here and there would be enough -

I would guess that 36 points is probably sufficient for comfortable survival nowadays. -
Called the ticket office yesterday and got through surprisingly quickly. It seems my season ticket had not been set up to send to the app, as though that was something I had opted for. I don't see how that could have happened as both my sons, who I renewed at the same time, did get theirs. They changed the setting and the ticket arrived within a minute. So for anyone else who has not yet got theirs this could be why.

If him and AA get 15 goals between them it could well be enough to make a difference this season

Got this reply when contacting the ticket office about the non appearance of my Forest season ticket >Thank you for your e-mail. We will endeavour to reply at our earliest chance, but we cannot guarantee that you will receive a reply due to the high volume of emails we are receiving currently. Southampton FC Ticket Office< So despite having spent a large amount of money on a season ticket I can't be certain they will reply!

Wouldn't touch with a bargepole. We are trying to build team spirit and he has an awful attitude as well as being a despicable diver
-
Indeed it was Grand National day. Although it was postponed due to a bomb threat. But so many games at Forest have been rainy, including the 1989 deluge in which Micky Adams got a red card.
-
Mine has still not arrived. But both my sons, renewed at exactly the same time, got theirs. I don't understand why the system doesn't send them all at the same time - surely it isn't a manual process?
-
Its inexplicable. But they can be absolutely dreadful and still stay up. Thought last season might have done for them when they couldn't rely on their points from us. Might be worth backing them to do down in their first season in the new stadium.

Ronnie Ekelund had an amazing game at Coventry including one of the best team goals ever scored. However, the bow was at Maine Road.

Had a long conversation with him at the kit launch. What I can say is that he is a very nice, friendly person and happy to talk. He came across a very positive about the coming season.
-
There is a slight link through MK Dons, although the overlap between him leaving in 2019 and RM joining in 2019 must have been quite short
-
Although he did miss a lot of games through injury - so we had three other keepers that season, Blayney, Keller and Smith
