Guess Villa have moved quickly to get Lampard before he joins Norwich
-
Would prefer Norwich to have won a game this season before they play us. We have a poor record of outplaying them totally at Carrow Road and somehow managing to lose, such as when Redmond scored the winner for Norwich.
-
This will be the third time that Spurs have tried an ex-Chelsea manager.
-
I really hope that is true. But the big six teams will soon be turning his head. And who would blame him for taking the opportunity to earn even more money to support his famiiy? I am resigned to two seasons being a decent tour of duty with us for any player of real quality

How many 'best in the worlds' have we had?

Kevin Keegan -
Stoneham would also have been 25,000 with not much hope of expansion. Not that keen on the actual stadium, but love the location of St Mary's.
-
Home recorders were around in 1976 but they were phenomenally expensive - over £1,000. That was when £1,000 would buy you a decent secondhand car. Alex Stepney, the United keeper said he had recorded the game and watched it back to prove Stokes was offside. Which of course was not true as Buchan played him on

Maybe there is a middle way, which is to insist to Ralph that he revamps his coaching staff and gets an assistant worthy of the name? Like Sammy Lee for example who already knows the club.
-
yet we didn't look short of confidence against Manchester City. Anything like that performance would have seen Wolves off
-
Derby won that game without a single shot on goal
-
Mine came on Tuesday. But I only got Manchester City tickets yesterday.
-
We usually park at Altrincham and take the metro from there. It is easy to get to from the M6
-
Redmond's contribution when coming on as sub at Newcastle was a strong reason for him to start today. His contribution today was a strong reason for him not to finish,
-
If we are being really pedantic, Branfoot only lasted one and a half seasons in the Premier League era, since his first season (91-92) was before history began. Ralph is now already way ahead of anyone else as the first to manage Saints in four Premier League seasons.
-
Wan-Bissaka went to United from Palace for £45 million two years ago. KWP is a better player so we have to be looking at £50 million.
-
Have a spare as my son has just had second jab and is feeling pretty ill.
-
Let's hope someone else is interested. He is a terrible player
-
What we constantly overlook is that a top quality keeper papers over so many cracks that reinforcement in outfield positions. It is not a question of affording a new keeper. We simply cannot afford not to have a better keeper, it could make the difference between being in the PL or Championship next season
-
I didn't see anyone being asked on the way in yesterday. But while waiting in the queue at the turnstile my son tried to get his pass ready on the app and there was an error and the pass couldn't be displayed. Goodness knows what will happen if they did start wanting to see the certificates. Not trusting technology myself I have got a paper version.

If my cards do not arrive tomorrow I will make it clear to Saints what action I am going to take. I am certainly not going to join a queue of thousands of people at the ticket office on Sunday. I shall print off my proof of purchase for three season tickets and I will expect to be let in.
-
I have this doomsday vision of thousands of us queuing up at the ticket office on Sunday. Also think its a bit much that for three Newcastle tickets all posted to the same address I have been charged an additional £4.50.
-
Lampard might come to Saints to rebuild his reputation. I thought he did fine with Chelsea when they had a transfer ban and had to work with what he had, so would fit right in with us. It fell apart when he was able to start signing players. Of course he will be off like a shot when another big team comes calling.
-
This calendar year away from home we have played 14 and lost 13. The only game in which defeat was avoided was against one of the worst teams in PL history. The facts speak for themselves. Ralph's time is up.
-
In the 50 years plus I have watched Saints we have never produced a high quality keeper. It seems strange when we can just churn out left backs.

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester

As long as they don't offer Choudry in exchange.
