Funny this as I went out with the lads up here in Worcestershire on Saturday night and they were all (villa fans) giving our Rickie an hard time eg Too old,too slow and will get shown up against better opposition.They see the saints as small time charlies but I have to say I stood my ground and gave as good as I got!! C'mon Rickie!!

My father in law,who supports Norwich told me that we had only asked for a 1200 allocation,how true that is I don't know,but we will find out on saturday.

Visited Iceland end of Jan this year,for just a long weekend and had a great time.Did the Blue Lagoon,Pearl,Waterfall at Gulfoss and some Geysers and the pingvellir national park. Stayed at the northern lights hotel near the Blue lagoon and had a few nights at the hotel ranga. Visited a small cafe in Grindavik (Bryggian)where the owner once played for Arsenal.Try the Lobster soup if you go!!

You can walk down the hill from the ground and catch a train in to new street from Bordesley station.

I'm sure you can just buy a single ticket,The info on the OS is a bit misleading as it gives season ticket holders the chance to buy an extra ticket if they so wish.Check with the ticket office.

Cheers for that,I'm starting back on mybike this year after abreak of nearly 30 years,used to race alot then my interest turned to the other sex!! Went up the Tourmalet a couple of years ago...in the car and thought to myself yes i will have some of that(on my bike). Lutz

I went to Australia and NZ for my GAP year in o8/09 and absolutely loved it. Adelaide is a nice place, went to the barossa valley, local beaches, overall nice freindly city. Melbourne-didn't quite like as much as sydney but it's a place you have to go to. Canberra- went for a day, its a dive yes, nothing there of any real interest except the parliment houses and war museum. sydney- I timed my vist well because i went to sydney over xmas and new years, the nye fireworks were amazing and bondi over xmas was packed!! I also went to brisbane, cairns, gold coast, darwin, alice springs, uluru and perth. All very good places but i din't quite like darwin and alice springs because of the locals lol i worked in a roadhouse for 3 months on the nullarbor, the nullarbor roadhouse, which was the highlight of my gap year. Theres the worlds longest golf course on the nullarbor now if you're a fan of golf! Worth a visit!!! I lest england laste october, so arrived aussie for spring and left aussie during there winter in august. Can't wait to go back, amazing country!

Yeah,I remember a few months ago on Midlands Today when the TV crew went to the Ricoh to gauge the fans feelings on making the play offs,when most of them did not want to talk about it!!!
