  1. Haven’t read every post but the stat that stands out to me today: after we scored today it was 23 shots to 4 (West Hams way obviously)
  2. Yep I think Semmens was fantastic under Gao as I think he managed a very tricky situation as well as possible Just like I thought Ralph was fantastic when he arrived and had us playing with purpose and method Unfortunately neither of them are now working with the current environment, and whilst I’ve been a Ralph out man for quite a while now I am thinking Semmens might need to join him
  3. There does have to be something going on behind the scenes because blind Freddy can see we are completely stuffed on the field
  4. This is it for me look at how we played when Ralph started, there was a purpose to the way we lined up, and the way we moved on the field, both with and without the ball. now there are just 11 people on the field this is absolutely nothing to do with who we have or haven’t signed on what positions. This is solely the set up of the players and what they are taking from the manager this cannot continue
  5. I think the biggest problem here, is the fact our front 3/4 dont press as manically as they used to, this means there is less pressure on the opponents when they are trying to come out of defence which means they can take their time to pick out a better pass which can far more easily bypass our midfield 2. When we press faster and deeper there are more hurried balls played which gives the midfield 2 more chance to pick up loose balls.
  6. I am happy we have city next as at least we aren’t pissing away more chances at points like we have the last 3 pathetic outings
  7. It’s got to the point now where I don’t even care.
  8. Just look at the England test cricket team. plenty of English people I know, said the team was no good and it wouldn’t matter who was coach and captain despite it being obvious the team wasn’t maximising it’s output sack the coach and captain and look what happens, beat the world test champions, beat india and beat the leaders in the current world test championship this squad is so much better than what Ralph gets out of it, but the typical English attitude seems to ingrained to so many here
  9. Maybe that would make sense if the rest of our team played like a well oiled machine. But I’ve got news for you Ralph, they don’t and a big reason for that is the system you play they in so maybe AMN is better off not learning this garbage
  10. Well he has certainly broken mine
  11. And it’s been 2 weeks since our last game so it’s impossible for him to learn the system in that time? Surely not
  12. a minute ago you wanted him to stand up and wait and see what happened, now you want him moving It seems MLG has hacked your account as you are being as stubbornly stupid as he is. basically that’s all that needs saying to you right now
  13. Fark me if he stands up and the ball is hit cleanly at his near post it would go in as there is no time to react, and it seems you would be critical of that too. You do realise he was only a few yards out and completely unmarked
  14. Voted 8 but would’ve gone 8.5 if that was an option as everyone has said above clearly the club wanted an extra attacker, which were the 3 biggest bids we know about. And clearly a few more outs were wanted by the club, permanent for Bednarek, Stephens would’ve been ideal.
  15. That’s the thing isn’t it. He isn’t the only solution to our attacking options, but if taking this so deep means we don’t have time to organise / finalise something else then that’s a problem
  16. Seems Leeds more likely now i wonder what would’ve happened if we had made our final bigger offer sooner
  17. Just really need to replace Ely. Everyone else on the field I felt contributed today
  18. Of the 3 times he handled the ball the first one the arm wasn’t in the natural silhouette, the second probably ok as Adams was jostling with him and the 3rd didn’t he just flick it away?
  19. Maybe, I guess the problem with that is that we tend to play very deep first half inviting pressure, and having very little goal threat as is was almost looking a 4-4-1-1 with only Aribo and Mara seemingly in our attacking half This also gives fans the impression that Ely and AArmstrong weren’t much good today, first half both did plenty of needed defensive work and filling of gaps whilst our opponents are attacking
  20. Fell asleep at half time, won was a pleasant surprise watching the second half. pretty poor goal to concede, Salisu giving away a needless foul in a dangerous area. we looked so much better after conceding, why it takes going behind to start playing both this week and last is a bit concerning. thought Djenepo was good considering he was genuine left back, and how he defended when he first arrived.
  21. Staggering we didn’t see him at Tottenham
  22. I thought of that and moved on! But maybe if it means we have a more balanced formation it could be worth trying?
  23. Can we play a 4-2-3-1 system? I don’t mind the idea of that. I just wish we had used some of pre season to try some of this. problem with a 4-2-3-1 is that until Perraud is due does Djenepo need to play LB
  24. If Ralph had played 2 up top and those 2 were Willy and Macca lighthouse would praise Ralph for it. the players had no problem adapting in the last 20 minutes today and that had more new players on field than last week so anyone that believes these tales from Ralph has serious problems
  25. Because….Ralph, that’s all that needs to be said
