Wow - I was never Nigel's biggest supporter an wouldn't have been too surprised if he had been sacked after west brom but doing it now is plain stupid, especially when we havent replaced him with a star manager Very very poor form cortese, you can have no complaints if people like shaw show you no loyalty and decide to move to bigger and better things

Didn't look great today but wasn't helped by our defenders never winning the first ball

Plenty of good play in the first half but even though we created 2 good chances in the second we gave the ball away far too easily and were lucky to hold on for a point Should have brought Ramirez on to help keep hold of the ball Also disappointing that we couldn't win any headers in defense to help release the pressure

maybe if anyone from our midfield was covering the left hand side or if shaw wasnt skinned so easily of if yoshida hadnt defended the 6 yard box or if fonte had been closer to berbatov to goal could have been prevented, but apart from having gadget arms there wasnt heaps davis could do about teh goal as teh fulham player had all day to direct his cross as there was no pressue applied to him

lambert needs another striker to play up front with him as its too easy for opposition defenders to double team him, none of the midfield get close enough too him as we play 3 holding mids at the moment and punch/ramirez are teh ones passing to him any striker playing on his own in our current system would struggle

Yes I think we are playing the worst of our 3 keepers We finally have the outfield sorted in terms of formation and personnel so can't afford these soft errors

gazza has made more geniune mistakes against lower quality opposition than davis if davis or boruc had kept in the same manner that gazza has in all his games boruc/davis would be being treated like guly on here yet gazza is given hero status. why?

lets not get too carried away, corks 2 games have been against a side who had previously only scored in 1 away game, and another who had only scored 3 home goals all season

The game reminded me of the 2004/5 matches against crystal palace and west brom - people thought it was an improvement but in reality it was costly We have now used home games against villa, wigan, fulham and Swansea for only 1 win

Bring back Davis

I have a question - what are the likes of terry venables, Howard wilkinson, Glenn hoddle etc doing now? We should look at hiring an ex- premiership manager who no longer wants a manager role to be a senior assistant to Adkins, if we want Adkins to stay. Someone who can give a bit of a fresh approach to both Adkins and the team In the AFL this coaching set up has been well implemented in the last couple of seasons with ex senior coaches taking on this role with first time senior coaches

Which again comes down to our transfer strategy - Morgan and Davis do alright but if you are wanting to play 4-3-3 the third mid needs to be stronger than lallana 5.5 games now without a goal from open play

Once in 5 games from open play - we aren't scoring as freely as people think

What might worry me most is in the last 4 and a half games we have scored once from open play - no way we can win games at any level with our defense and not scoring freely
