Well your choices are: Buy the club and run it your way Change clubs Stop supporting football Support the players and staff who are here at the time It was telling a while back when someone started a thread asking fans if they would pay more for guarantees that people would stay and the majority of fans said no

Couldn't agree more unfortunately To be able to watch premier league live next season in Australia we are forced to purchased Optus broadband and mobile phone plans at a minimum of $85 a month because they paid a stupid amount for the rights and are trying to get it back through overpriced subscriptions
-
No - it means one thing - Everton are offering him more money that is all Once Ron mentioned a couple of weeks before the season that money = ambition I was pretty sure he was keen to leave
-
That's right - if the board feel he won't extend and the person top of the list to replace him is available now the board would almost be forced to twist I just hope Ronald gets back from holiday and extends his deal
-
That's the point - net spend doesn't equal success
-
Liverpools net spend on Lovren was more than ours Man united match net spend on Morgan was more than ours Net spend means nothing - it's who you spend on that counts - this is why I was so disappointed that Ronald linked ambition to money recently which is an easy way to pass blame in the broader publics mind And as has been said earlier why provide a manager who seemingly doesn't want to be here for more than 1 year with who he wants in transfer market as this may not watch with what the next manager wants
-
From what I can gather from reading Ron's quotes is that we need to spend more money regardless of if its spending it smartly or not. I find it quite disappointing that after all these upward curves he publicly mentions money as a factor in his decision
-
Yet still better value than some of the previous regime Osvaldo Ramirez Forren Mayuka
-
What about mentioning the fact that the goalscorer first had the ball in his own half and was able to get all the way to to goal line without being tracked by a single Southampton midfielder or defender Not that that should matter as Kane has clearly interfered with play despite not touching the ball
-
That was my first thought too - they probably couldn't have picked a worse week to do it as being at Adelaide oval on Sunday was fantastic and something I never thought I would see in Adelaide (especially this season being winless after 8 matches) amd then to get home and watch Southampton smash man city certainly made it a great day
-
Who would've thought in a season that has contained away wins against Manchester United and Chelsea - draws at Liverpool and arsenal (and hopefully a win against Tottenham to come) that away form is seemingly so poor

55 Maddison the highest overlooked

How many would les Ferdinand have? Maybe teddy sherringham?

I will put my thoughts on here as opposed to the million ...insert name here... is the worst player/manager/board member etc. to ever be involved in professional football. for me 2 things need to happen 1) Pelle needs some support, so often we just lump the ball towards him and he isolated against multiple defenders, I saw on some threads he was being criticised for not going at every header, but even if he did win some there is no one to take advantage of these. so for this Mane needs to come in more centrally and either play as a front 2 or at very worst just in behind Pelle. 2) we need to tweak the formation - Soares' main strength from what we have seen so far is his crossing so lets get him and Bertrand more advanced and play a back 3 Yoshida will have to come in as the 3rd CB then we can play effectively a midfield 4 of Bertrand - Wanyama (form and attitude pending) - Romeu - Soares. Then we would have the option mixing how our front 3 set up depending on opponent and state of game starting with maybe Classie just then having Pelle and Mane up front. Using this formation should still give us good width with Bertrand and Soares going forward, keeps Mane in more dangerous areas and gives Pelle some support.

Seem very poor comments from RK to me, much more like comments I would expect from someone like Harry Redknapp. maybe he would prefer more purchases like Osvaldo just because they are more expensive?
-
Played the entire second half like there was 1 minute left and just kept hoofing the ball, no players wanted to actually control the ball at any point This then left pelle so isolated Substitutions certainly didn't help at all No idea who our best player was
-
That was my first thought - he certainly didn't look himself last week though - not that any of our defence looked solid
-
This might sound stupid but I thought the ball looked heavy and struggled quite often to reach targets, even a lot of goalkeeper clearances didn't seem to go as far as normal This might be due to early season or I could just be making it up
-
Would be a great signing
-
Exactly if they have a player the top 6 want they will go
-
As long as we keep playing reasonably well then of course we will that's how world football works
-
Great call by the linesman to start the match In the time of the argument you could show a replay and give the correct result
-
And that really is the key to the league generally staying with a pretty consistent order. players like boruc and cork would be great to keep in our squad as back up but we don't have the ability to keep these happy in that role I see in a few posts people suggesting we need to buy better than we have and then what we have become back up, which I agree is an ideal scenario, but doing that is so difficult for a club that isn't in the champions league or having high historical prestige or a massive wage bill.
-
Maybe if cortese hadn't wasted so much money on Osvaldo, Ramirez, Mayuka, gazzaniga we would have better depth in key areas. One thing you are right about is players like pelle don't score shedloads - generally these players cost at least twice as much as pelle For me the biggest difference is how teams are playing against us. First half of the season there was low expectation and games were much more open. As we continued to get good results teams started to respect us more and more so closed the field up against more. What we don't have is enough key variety in attack, especially in the number 10 type role to continually unlock opposition defences which drags our midfield forward more and leaves more chances at the back for counter attacks. As long as we keep most of the team together they will learn a stack more upon reflection during preseason

Truly awful player
