Selles fecking clueless…. He can do one

Sorry but we lost that game at 6.30pm when that team sheet was announced. Absolute disaster of a lineup. Against a team like brentford who are well organised you need to play with pace and selles starts with diallo and elynoussi. Jesus wept. selles was the constant during the latter stages of Ralph’s tenure and also with jones. I don’t think he’s the answer and quite clearly hasn’t a clue. I also don’t get why at no point the wide players didn’t swap sides, just to try something different. club is a shambles, our muck spreading transfer policy hasn’t helped. quicker this season ends the better.

Subs were fecking ridiculous and could have cost us the game and again on the 60 minute mark. Elynoussi on, is like playing with 10 men and Adam Armstrong really doesn’t have a football brain. We got lucky but 3 points was more than than the majority expected so least we move on. But Selles doesn’t fill me with confidence in terms of game management.

Just shows the complete inability of the board to manage our managerial situation and highlight how out of their depth ankerson and semmens are. Why did they rush in appointing selles to the end of the season so quickly. They didn’t need to. And now any u turn is going to look even worse. how can a board make such a clusterF*+k is beyond belief. As for tonight, a strong manager won’t select many of those players for the rest of the season.

That performance was as bad as anything under Ralph or jones. Absolutely toothless up front but to be fair our main striker had no support and nothing to go at. I think you need to go 442 now. When you persist with elynoussi who has no pace, no trickery, no pokery and can’t pass or beat a player then what is the fecking point. I don’t get the 3 subs as we looked poor, as we did at Chelsea when that change was made. let’s face it, we’re gone, no right to stay in this league and we are clearly the worst team in the league. The owner should fire Semmens and ankerson immediately. Shambles.

Elynoussi just looks way off

He did well at hull and he’s generally walked into difficult situations as a manager.. I wouldn’t be against a selles / Adkins partnership until The end of the season

Should have got neil warnock in short term.. he wouldn’t have taken any crap from the players and it would be an interesting watch 🤣🤣

Stick with selles and perhaps add an experienced coach alongside him until end of the season. Then look who’s available at the end of the season. Always thought marsch was a bit knee jerk anyway.

That second half was shocking…. I’m sure that when you play against ten men you really push out wide and create the space, we didn’t do it. The players didn’t really have a clue in that second 45 mins. Why the feck was jwp not shooting at free kicks either. Caleta-car has obviously told jones he’s a cu£t, hence being second fiddle to bednarek and lyanco. Was happy with the new players but bree is bang average. The executive box got it at the end of the game, lots of head shaking, they must act tonight, new start tomorrow is needed with a total reset. We’re going down but the club and the fans need to stability. SR are really making a hash out of this.

Yeah it’s bizarre, but I have absolutely no reason to doubt or question what I was told. Unless jones didn’t want the fight broken up, perhaps dcc became a bit heavy handed.. who knows.

Interesting comments from someone quite closely connected to the club… so the reason as to why caleta -car was dropped was due to the fact that he intervened between a bust up between selles and jones last week. This week JWP had a significant disagreement with jones on the training ground… these are rumours but I’ve no reason to doubt where I heard them. If true the training ground must be a lively place to be. But not sure a manager can stay if true. Perhaps jones comments about doing it his way relate to selles and that fact that SR perhaps are more trusting of selles judgement.

Jeez if jones is here next season in the championship we’ll be getting lower gates than Yeovil town. Been lots of decent media coverage today backing the supporters and questioning why jones was ever appointed in the first place. Ultimately I don’t blame jones, he should never been put in that position anyway, just reeks of cheap and trying to be clever in terms of an appointment and choosing a manager that rasmus thought would be his puppet. Fecking shambles.

We need a manager bounce… could happen on Saturday if he’s gone.. reports that players are not happy won’t help Saturdays performance. He needs to be out of if his misery, imagine going 1 down on Saturday.. it’s gonna be horrendous. Sports republic are trying their best to resemble absolute amateurs.

I wouldn’t, the summer maybe but I think now is the time for someone to try and give the fans a lift, someone like adkins with a decent coach with him. We may not stay up but it’s would be better than what we have now.

If I was the owner I’d be really concerned about his press conferences.. it’s like he’s constantly confusing himself and I’ve no idea what the players must think. If he goes to a back 5 tomorrow and we lose it should be game over for him, lose against wolves and it’s pretty much game over for us. Minimum of 4 points required over next 2 games.

Newcastle do seem to be getting the run of the ball in many games I’ve seen… the press want them to win, deserve to get to the final apparently. Well they’ve been a terrible football club for the last 20 odd years. They deserve sweet FA. Think luck may desert them next Tuesday. Having spent many weekends watching saints in Newcastle, trying to survive the spinning dance floor on the now gone, tuxedo princess, I’ve loads of respect for their fans but Christ, they’ve some right bell ends who have appeared. Shame really.

The che chance again was the pivotal moment in the match..so obvious he was gonna try for that corner and pope read it well. Another striker would have probably set up to hit it in the same corner but hit across in the opposite corner. No idea what the stewards were doing but down in the corporate area some saints fan just walked down and smacked a Newcastle fan around the head.. he was probably a 🛎️ end but you just can’t do that. Stewards did feck all. Not good.

Difference today between 2 poor teams was that one was well coached and set up, one was a mess. The mess lost. We are fooked

A few weeks ago there were quite a few on here slagging off JWP when the team were really struggling. I defended him at the time as he was the only player giving his all and trying to hold the team together. Quality always shines though. He just needed some quality around him and now you see how important he is. But do I hope some of the bell wits on here are eating humble pie… as I likely will do if jones can really turn this around.
