Blackmore: Players angry with Board & Reed
corsacar saint replied to Saint Charlie's topic in The Saints
Bill, I think as usual you are pretty close to the truth. -
The fact that the players appear to have no confidence in Les Reed or the board, is very, very worrying to say the least. If Les Reed was really as good as some of you fans seem to think, why has he not had a glittering career in club football?
-
The fact that the players allegedly have issues with the man is the biggest worry. You have to get the new manager spot on Mr Reed and let him bring in his own players, you mess up and you will feel the wrath of a potentially very unforgiving fan base.
-
Good riddance Poch and it will be interesting to see how long you last with Levy.
-
Is Les Reeds alleged sacking of Jason Dodd and Paul Williams, the catalyst for all the turmoil and disarray at the club? The man, for some one who has never reached any great heights in club football, has an awful lot of football power at the club. The decision, was a massive own goal, which is likely to have far reaching consquences for the club. If Pochitino wants to go to Spurs, that is his call, but with Les Reed likely to have a large say on any new manager coming in, god help us, especially with Alan Curbishley still out of work. For the record, I am a big fan of Katharina Liebherr and have nothing but praise for what hewr family have done for the club.
-
We owe the Liebherrs everything, any personal attacks on Katharina are a total disgrace. If Pochitino is so desparate to join Spurs, we are better off without him.

Absolutely hilarious, nice one. -
And it was last week, did come on as sub today though for 30 minutes, but unfortunately did not score.

I know that Juventus clinched the title a few weeks ago, but hopefully Osvaldos late, late winner away to runners up Roma, will push his value up a little more.

KL is between the devil and the deep blue sea. Personally I am very happy to have her on board.
-
Renewed this morning, pleased to do so.
-
Why should KL sponsor us, she has put plenty of her own money into the club.
-
Great news. Enjoy the next 4 years Sam, you are at a great club.
-
I repeat again, all you Duncan knockers who have never met the guy, are way off the mark with your crass assassinations on his character. He is a genuinely nice man.
-
Lallana any day, he would be almost impossible to replace. For the record I am a big fan of all three players.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 2-0 Everton
corsacar saint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
A magnificent all round team performance, we made Everton look very ordinary at times. -
I was devastated when we lost that game, especially with Watford to play in the final. My recollection was that Southall kept them in the game and we missed other chances as well. Everton certainly had their chances as well as us. I also remember we beat them 3-1 at The Dell, 3 days later. Having said we were probably unlucky, they had quite a team out that day and I certainly did not remember Curran playing in that game.

The two goals, especially the first one he scored in last weeks Scottish Cup semi final, would not have looked out of place, any where in world football.
