  3. Andrew Johnson , Birmingham City , needs some match fitness and McLeash knows AJ wants to regain fitness for the Premier league ... Loan to the end of the season perhaps , could AP be the person to get him fit and ready for Birmingham next season // Would like to see AJ up front for us in a final push for the play offs.

  9. I think your find its quoted in the Mirror on line today i believe
  10. Someone in fish fidling land has got to be accountable for this, it is reported in the press that; Utaka = £80,000 A WEEK over 2 years and scored 6 goals in 70 odd apperances , nearly £8m in wages Not a bad return on 6 goals ,
  11. Another good win , in front of a large crowd . Although Saints not at their best, I always think back to what Pards explained at the fans forum. A lot of league 1 teams are not used to playing in such a fantasic stadium , or in front of very good crowd numbers. For those teams a visit to SMS is a top game , players are bound to put in a decent performance against us because I'm sure they want to impress not only their manager but MAY catch the eye of Pards , SFC big club, great ground and I would suggest pay decent wages. A lot of players visiting are bound to up their game , when in previous matches may not shine to much for thier own club. In the past , Im sure we would have bottled out in front of a large crowd , lost confidence when they pulled one back , but this team seems to have an ability to win when they are not playing to their best. I'm convinced the play offs are now not only achievable for us, but quietly the next step for Pards. COYR
  12. I think with Pards is what you see is what you get. He has an ability to instill positivity into people. At the Fans Forum , the way he was speaking about AL was great and discussed his move to a premier league club. I would love to know what his half time chats involve , after leaving the fans forum even I felt motivated enough to think I could pull on the shirt go out there and win, so the impact on the squad must have a real positive effect. The training ground development I think is so important to attract players when we get out of this league . Even if Pards was to leave following the call ( I personally can't see it) but what we have in place now is the set up, backing, infrastructure of a premier league team in waiting and that is a massive attraction to quality managers, they would know we are not on our 5 year car crash any more. COYR.
  13. Was it Barrow in the 60's ??
  14. match report from their fans , http://upthesaddlers.com/wp/archives/2009/12/06/walsall-vs-southampton-report/
  15. Because the Blue Circus is in the EPL , Im sure that things may have a bit more flexability as the EPL won't want to be tarnishing thier own image. However this saga has gone on to long now and their time is running out to gets things sorted and they are making the EPL look a bit foolish. Don't really have much sympathy as they were only to quick to take the P*** at our demise , so what comes around goes around. We have struck extremly lucky to gain ML when you look at other teams around who are struggling
  16. Disapointed really .. I mean a boring 1-0 win , COYR
  17. 3rd round here we come , not bothered at all we concided those goals , the penalty was harsh to say the least . In the past how many times have we F***ed up away from home to a smaller team , we are scoring goals , confidence in the team seems good and we have not lost an away game since Swindon .... lets get a decent team at home in 3rd round ...
  18. Ground sharing is supposed to benefit both clubs. If this was ever a considered option for the blue circus , they would be the only ones to benefit. SFC has nothing to gain , we don't need the money I am sure if Markus wanted to expand SMS he has the required ££££ to make this happen without being topped up every fortnight by PFC paying us a few quid. Cost of Policing such events has no relevance because Hampshire Constabulary provide the police , in previous arrangements where clubs shared grounds, the cost of such matters was covered by the "home team" . The only place where this would benefit would be Glasgow , both clubs have cash problems , both in the same city and as long as they dont join the EPL I will be happy .
  19. I thought we done a very profession job last night , standing in the Northam was great fun as usual, the Charlton fans were woeful to say the least. My MOM was Jaidi , he did not put a foot wrong , we shut them down very quickly , looked great going forward and were a constant threat up front, The whole team looked very workman like and I can't remember Charton posing any threat at all really Atmosphere in the Northam was good and the Lambert song is taking off as each game goes by Solid perfomance all round
  20. Im sure their ground has a stand for away fans that allocates about 800 tickets , does it need to be more for FA Cup ? Im sure capacity is only about 8,000 so what ever the percentage is for FA Cup these days
  21. heard that of all people Mark Wotte is on the list ,
  22. Maybe the Aldershot job is a bit to big for him ??
  23. I think we will be on fire today , 4 - 0 Lambo and Connolly up front on SMS debut , after seeing how much it meant to him at Oldham , Im sure he will be itching to bang a few in today COYR
