  1. Or - has she actually put her Grand in - Yes or No
  2. I was responding to an earlier quote on the board - and if you read my post about The Mali Group you could see the connection
  3. The turnover Liebherr Group increased by 10% ( 2012) Liebherr Group recorded a turnover of 8.33 bn (€ 10 bn francs) in 2011. The increase was 9.8% compared to 2010 - I'm sure they are all worried by the £30m they invested
  4. Plus here is snippet from Swiss newspapers - Words from the man himself - after reading this can you see NC going against his wishes and sale up ? I quote " Markus Liebherr hoped such an outcome. He had also confided saying: "Southampton must regain its place among the elite of English football, but not too fast." In 2009, the challenge seemed crazy, even utopian, as the club seemed run in vain after a more or less glorious (winner of the Cup in 1976). Indeed, the Saints, as they are nicknamed, had been demoted to the third division due to the judicial supervision of the company owner. The cause: serious financial difficulties. Situation mainly due to the construction of the new 32,000-seat stadium opened in 2001 and too often filled after relegation to the second division (2005).
  5. Its about the long term - hence why the debt has been transferred into equity - the club is debt free , £30m is peanuts to the worth of the Mali Group ( Markus Estate) - The Mali group were different to the main Liebherr family business - quite diverse in their projects around the world - it really is not about the money - just read the foreign press business sections and you get a different perspective about the background to why the Mali Group is virtually closed down, not sold off , not transferred to a family member but just closed down very quietly - IF it was all about the money and making more money as you suggest they could easily sold the Mali Group of companies for millions and millions - even the patterns owned by Markus , and they alone are worth millions have not been sold - so if they wanted more money why are they all not up for sale ?
  6. But - that has never been the style of the Leibherr family - it's always been about long term investment and a legacy left for future family generations
  7. Of course NC has been speaking to other people who may be interested, after all he was quoted some where saying if The Liebherr family wanted to walk away after the passing of Markus he was aware of backers who would want to be part of the project. Now that all of Mali groups are being wound up / closed - one former employee of Mali said it was like the chicken lost it's egg after Markus passing - these were his ideas, motivations so where does this leave the Estate of Markus now. I for one moment do not believe that SFC is going to be sold to anyone, what would NC do ? He has been intrusted with the business of Markus by the family and articles in the Swiss and German business sections seem to be aware that the fire has gone from Mali Group - their is no mention of the same fate for SFC The fact that NC is now registered living in the UK full time just says to me - he is here for the long run - but just my opinion.
  8. Conditions of PST council loan That the club owned and operated by the trust is the same club that was relegated and has membership of the relevant football league That the club and its assets are bought for £7.68m, which includes provision for the full and final settlement of the football creditors That the club owned and operated by the trust obtains all rights to the £11.7m of parachute payments That the trust obtains a legal charge over Fratton Park That no other legal charges are made against the income or assets of the club, beyond those set out in the trust's business plan, without the prior consent of the council That the council receives an assignment of parachute payments to repay the loan or that an investor guarantee is provided by the trust for the full £1.45m That a subscription agreement for the trust's Fan Share Scheme, High Net Worth Investors and Associate Director Scheme is in place, which has been approved by the city solicitor and does not allow money to be taken out of the club until the council has been repaid That proof of funds from the three schemes has been demonstrated That a suitably skilled and experienced chief executive is appointed by the trust
  9. Surely - having the bestest fans would mean they don't actually need any cash from anyone to get their wonderful club onto the new road - It's the Pompy way - borrow more and more and more and more , just to keep 11 blokes kicking a ****ing football around for twice a week - its pathetic
  10. Why worry about it - whats the point
  11. Do you think we should be a little charitable and offer a ground share ? If their home was to go - how about NC having the high moral ground and offering them an olive branch - paid up front of course ... I wonder what the fishy few would say !!!!!
  12. Yes but we have to account of adjustment here for the thickos maths . In real terms @ 0.0002% this equates to 200
  13. Thats a lot of reading - and trying to keep up is hard work
  14. THE Football League has given its verdict on Pompey’s administration situation – and it’s the supporters’ trust or bust. The organisation has said it will not consider any new bids for the club, other than that by the Pompey Supporters’ Trust (PST). http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/sport/pompey/football-league-says-it-won-t-consider-any-new-bids-for-pompey-1-4766589
  15. I think ole Chinny has played a blinder here - suckered the HNI to pump cash into the club on a monthly basis - played the court card fully to his advantage and now may get even more cash directly paid to him - if Orville is a stooge for him "My position is secure, I will get my money back" and they fell hook line and sinker for it LOL

  17. Can't wait for NC to say sod it - I am not good enough in their eyes and recommend Leibheer's sale up and get out - Lets hope we get one of those people like Notts Forest have or Coventry or our Plucky friends down the road ,or decent people with cash like Blackburn - yeah that will show em won't it Matt - bring in the mummy's boy and his few quid - Get old lawrie in for a few more beers and chat about the old days - have a half time giggle with some local comic - I just can't wait ....
  18. Pompey shops are closed to customers Published on Tuesday 5 February 2013 17:08 THE two official Pompey shops have closed their doors to customers. The Pompey Megastore, in Fratton Way, and the shop within Cascades Shopping Centre have stopped trading. The shops are not owned or operated by Portsmouth Football Club, but instead are operated by Scotland-registered firm Frogmore Retail Limited, known formerly as Kappa Retail Limited. Pompey spokesman Neil Weld said the club could not comment at this early stage, but confirmed the shops had closed. The News understands the company is on the brink of administration, but no official notice has yet been published. Customers said they had been told the stores would be closed temporarily, and the shops’ website would be back to taking orders soon. One said: ‘I was just told there were legal problems that need sorting out, but they wouldn’t tell me what they are.’ There is a notice on the site saying internet orders cannot currently be processed. No-one from the shops could be contacted on either of the stores’ lines, or on the general enquiries number when The News attempted to contact the company.
  19. When you look back at this - just how much longer can this really go on - Just cannot believe it has been over 3 years and not one penny has really been paid to non football creditors ...3 YEARS In December 2009, it was announced that the club had failed to pay the players for the second consecutive month, on the 31st it was announced player's wages would again be paid late on 5 January 2010. According to common football contracts, the players then had the right to terminate their contracts and leave the club without any compensation for the club, upon giving two weeks notice. Despite the financial difficulties, Grant's time as manager was initially successful. He gained two wins (against Burnley and Liverpool) and a draw away at Sunderland from his first five games. The only losses inflicted on Portsmouth in this period were by eventual double winners Chelsea and the previous season's champions, Manchester United. HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) filed a winding-up petition against Portsmouth at the High Court in London on 23 December 2009. In March 2010, this winding-up petition was dropped, leaving Portsmouth with a nine-point penalty for entering administration.During the 2009–10 season, it had become apparent to the club's new owner Balram Chainrai that Portsmouth were approximately £135 million in debt so to protect the club from liquidation, Chainrai placed the club into administration on 26 February 2010, and the club appointed Andrew Andronikou, Peter Kubik and Michael Kiely of accountancy firm UHY Hacker Young as administrators. This automatically incurred a nine-point penalty from the FA Premier League which came into effect on 17 March and resigned the team to almost certain relegation, which was mathematically confirmed on 10 April.
  20. I have just one simple question that someone here may be able to answer , With all of the debt owed from the last few years , has one single penny been paid at all to any creditors ?
  21. Please no gushing - otherwise we may be associated how wonderful Milan and Terry Henry thought the Skate supporters were - we lost the game played well and lets leave it there.
  22. In all fairness not many teams come away from OT with a result , but we played extremely well second half and credit to Mo for not going there and looking to play defensive football - enjoyed the game great streaming and yes we didn't win but with a new manager on board it could easily have gone completely tits up for us tonight - Watch out Wigan !!!!
  23. Another decent striker makes this team I think - its all we need
