We played some lovely football at times and Bart looked really good- not allowed out of the enclosed area- if you leave you are not allowed back in!

Main reason I want to stand is because I have a bad back- sitting for a whole game really aggravates it- nothing to do with being hard- was my reason for getting ST in the Northam in the first place!

My brother, his son and I are thinking of moving from our seats in the Northam to the Chapel, to save money on our season tickets, but we like standing to watch the game- does anyone know if there is anywhere in the Chapel end where anyone stands or do you have to sit down for the whole game?!

I reckon Adkins might be tempted by Mirfin or Murphy at his old club- both out of contract and apparently championship quality players. We definitely need a centre back, maybe Adkins will want another good keeper and let Forecast go?

Did anyone else get a free pasty- about 10mins to go the guy running the snack bar brought out a tray and started giving pasties away- when Lambert scored the winner my brother got pushed in the excitement and his pasty went up in the air and broke up over about 5 guys in front of us- hilarious!

Turkish -you are so right- we have a number of fans who just look to blame one player for our poor team performances. Hammond is unfairly singled out. He has played really well for the last 8 games and as soon as we lose, some fools blame it on him. He is one of those players who you don't realise how important he is to the team until he isn't playing. I for one like him and although he isn't our most talented player, he gives his all for the team.

I really warm to this guy everytime he talks so positively and passionately about Southampton!

My brother and his mate went to the old Wembley to watch an England game under Venables, when Matty was at his peak, but not selected. He had a massive bed sheet and written on it was " Where's Tiss Tel you tosser?!" Was shown on TV-hilarious!
