A few days ago, I posted a thread asking for any goals people thought were the best of the past 50 or so years. which is why I think a few dozen people on this forum who are sat in the chapel singing it would get that end of the stadium understanding the song (me included).

I'm currently making a video of goals that sum up saints and are truly brilliant. Here are the ones I've got at the moment: v West Brom 1980/1 v Liverpool 1983/4 v Norwich 2004/5 v Man U 2010/1 v Man U 1975/6 v Pompey 1983/4 v Blackburn 1993/4 v Liverpool (with loads of passes) v Newcastle (Matt le tissier chipping one) Are there any more that would be good?

I sat in the Kingsland yesterday but for some strange reason I wanted to be back in the chapel.

Just back. Well ground out win. Fonte was superb. Fair play to Orient who gave it a good go in the second half, but the defence was excellent and Davis made two excellent stops. Noise from the Saints fans was superb. Sunburnt.

How about two games, neither of which we won. Saints 2, Liverpool 3 in 1982. Included the best goal I have ever seen Saints score. Two teams going for it, just a pity that Liverpool nicked it late on. Saints 1 Newcastle 1 in 2003. Again, end to end stuff. CMFG nearly won it at the end with a header that just went wide. Cracking game.

Not the best goal or the most convienient win but a game where the football from 0 - 90 has just been brilliant. Your thoughts?
